Beautiful location. Well cared for cottage with everything you need. So cosy and comfortable. Lovely friendly owners that cant do enough for you. It was our second stay at Lavender Cottage and we will definatly be back again.

Just come back from a fantastic weekend at Lavender Cottage, the house was very clean and welcoming. The hosts were extremely friendly and didn't seem to mind my daughter constantly asking questions while playing on the swing. Robert suggested that if we went into the field around tea time then we might see the local barn owl that hunts in the area, we took the dog for a walk around this time and did indeed see the owl which my kids and wife loved seeing. We had 1 small problem with the fire when we returned from tea on Friday night but this was sorted immediately by Robert. All I can say is first class service all round and we would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area.

Everything the cottage was beautiful the views were amazing the hosts were very helpful polite and friendly location was great too over looking whitby and a view of whitby Abbey

Easy to find and the most amazing hosts...they left you to it, but were always on hand to answer any questions. The place was just ideal. Decorated very nicely and the views from the top were just breath taking.
