Happy Guest Apartment Zagreb

I loved EVERYTHING. The host was very clear and prompt with messages, the key acquisition was even fun. The house was so clean, I wore the same pair of white socks for 3 days and they stayed white! It was equipped with every single appliance you could ever need. You could stay for years there and have everything you need. The bed was the most comfortable one I ever tried, it inspired me to buy a similar one for my new home. The TV had a voice control remote. Aircon was not too harsh. Shower was modern and beautiful. We even had like 5 umbrellas in the closet and a ton of additional covers and sheets. Due to my surgery I was in no shape to tidy up the place and wash the dishes after my stay was complete. I know the guest doesn't have to do that, but after all the niceties extended to me by the owner I wish I could leave the place just as I found it.

Marjam responded to all my requests quickly and was in touch prior to my stay to communicate access details. The apartment was very clean, the space comfortable and large enough, and in a great and quiet location. Amenities for the bathroom (toilet paper, soap, bathing soap, shampoo, etc.) were available. The kitchen had cooking equipment, an oven, and cooktop gas stove, cooking pots, a supply of spices, vinegar and oil, so we could easily prepare meals and eat in comfort. There was plenty of natural light for the space. The windows opened to a green space with mature trees and the fresh air was enough (in late June) that we didn’t need air conditioning. The apartment was smartly decorated. It was a nice walk (0.9 miles) to the city center. We also took a short walk to the National Theater for an outdoor concert and to a park two blocks away for a wine festival. The bath linens were good and the closet had blankets and other linens if needed.

The bed linens were polyester (not 100% cotton), which I personally find uncomfortable. The apartment is on the 4th floor, so if you have luggage be prepared for the ascent.

It was a beautiful apartment, very cozy, about 20 minutes from the center and had everything we needed.

The only negative is it was on the top floor with no elevator.
