Nice decorated apartmant.

What I don't like is that: 1. you have to send a copy of your personal document to gmail. This is against the GDPR. Independent registration would be desirable or delivery of only the requested data. 2. The apartment is so complicated that you need directions to get to it. There are still works, so it is quite difficult. 3. Due to the stay in the apartment, the owner comes to show the apartment to a potential buyer. Although a message was sent, he did not receive a reply that he could come because I was sleeping. As a result of I sleep, someone is trying to enter your apartment, you wake up and rush to the door without knowing what it is. Since the apartment is on two floors, in a hurry, you will miss the narrow stairs and sprain your leg. 4. despite the fact that the apartment is nicely decorated, it smells like mold. In any case, a very, very unpleasant experience.

Apartment was really clean first of all, location is perfect, 5 walking to the center.

Only thing I didn’t like that the apartment was below the street and with windows open it was really loud with the cars and traffic, but there is AC and it was nice.

The apartment is acceptable for a short stay (no more than two nights). However, the room has some basement mold, so it would have been better to ensure good ventilation and fresh air.

It would have been appreciated if I had been informed about the major building repairs in the middle of the apartment. It was difficult to walk through the scaffolding with a heavy bag, and there was inadequate lighting outside the stairway.

The space itself is very nice and well appointed and large. It’s in a good location. The hosts were available and helpful.

I did not have time to read the reviews before booking. You should be aware that this apartment is below ground level on a very busy street. The cars pass directly outside the windows and also stop outside the windows because it is located at a corner with a stoplight. Pedestrians also pass by the windows and can look directly in. I was not comfortable leaving the curtains open, but I also was not comfortable leaving the windows open because of all of the noise and exhaust. More important for me, however, is that the apartment is very dank and often smelt like ammonia. Even opening the windows did not address the smell. Basically it smells like every musty basement that I’ve been in. This bothered me more than anything else. There is construction in the courtyard that you have to pass through. Despite the apartment being lovely, I very much wish that I had read prior reviews and I do think the construction should be disclosed. I would not stay here again, and if I could’ve left after one night I would have. Again, the hosts are wonderful, but they can’t change these aspects of the apartment.

The host and property are AMAZING! You could not ask for more. Thomas the host is an amazing person who is extremely helpful. The property is larger than most in a perfect location close to anything you need. Transport is close, groceries, attractions, nightlife, gyms, museums. The TV is great, the couch is comfy, the kitchen is large by EU standards. The big bed is comfortable. I wish I could own the property.

There are stairs to go reach the unit.

The place is very cozy and well equiped, the hosts are wonderful, and the location is excellent - walking distance to the city center. The bed is comfortable, it was a bit cold for us when we arrived and the hosts immediately turned up the heating system (remotely). The seating area is a nice touch, there is a huge smart TV with Netflix, which we enjoyed one night. The only caveat is that it's practically a basement and when you open a window, you see the feet of people walking by and the car tires. The hosts were probably the best part of our experience - quick to respond, kind, and attentive. Reacted to the heating request quite quickly and offered a percentage refund, because the TV programs didn't seem to work - only Netflix. Overall, we recommend the space for a short stay in the beautiful Zagreb for two people.

The fact that the apartment is located at level -1 is not the best, as you can hardly get any fresh air. We opened the front door to aerate. For a short stay, we didn't mind.
