Apartments O la la

SIMPLY AMAZING. A wonderful, clean, modern, very very central apartment with a lift. The apartment is equipped with everything, there is central heating in all the rooms and also air conditioning. The hosts are so helpful and kind, they even bought us some groceries as our flight arrived late at night. It is highly recommended, I would definitely stay there again when I go back to Zagreb. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Fabulous location so close to everything. They have thought of everything even a hair straightener. Bed was very comfortable too 😀

Spacious and comfortable apartment with nice furnishings. Location is right next to the city square. Easy walk to everywhere. Please note that the building is located in a no car zone, so you will have a 5 minute walk to your taxi or uber.

Use of aerosol air freshener in the bathroom is not healthy for the lungs or the environment.

We liked everything about this apartment.It is more better than we thought.I am sure that we will come back.

The apartment was beautiful and in an excellent location overlooking the main square. It had everything we needed and was very secure as well.

We found communication with the host to be extremely difficult. There was a misunderstanding about what we had to pay as the text messages we received on our arrival were not clear and when we tried to clarify what we had to pay, the host did not respond. We thought they were trying to charge us twice for the city tax. He sent an employee to our apartment at night time to collect what we owed which turned out to be the total payment for the apartment in cash. This was different to all other Booking.com apartments we have stayed in so we didn't understand this and were very worried that we were being "conned". The collector spoke minimal english so she could not assist us to understand and put us on to the host on her mobile phone to the host who was very unpleasant. I had him yell furiously at me that we "Americans and Canadians" (we are Australians) never understand that we have to pay the full payment in cash at the time of the stay. He would not listen to me that we thought we had paid in full and continued to yell at me in a very threatening manner. Finally we went back to our confirmation on the app and discovered, well down the bottom, that we had to pay the full amount in cash. Luckily we had sufficient cash with us at the time to pay as we were very concerned that we might be evicted given the host's angry manner. The incident left us feeling very upset and shaken. It was such a shame as the apartment was very nice. I would also suggest that you will need ear plugs if you are sleeping in the lounge area as the trams go back and forth all night in the square below and were very noisy despite the double glazed windows.

Location was great within an old building on the 5th floor in the city centre close to the main square and the lift was helpful to access the apartment. A lovely spacious apartment with plenty of room and good facilities.

We arrived on a rainy day and the building and apartment had a strange smelly drain odour and a very strong smell of deodoriser.
