La chambre aveugle

The location was great; super central. We were never more than 10-15 from anything we wanted to see in the city. There is a terrific spa around the corner from this place (Inacquaveritas). The place was clean and tidy with nice decorations, and we had everything we needed. Checkin was easy and the host was always responsive. The book of recommendations for the city was very helpful -- the restaurants in there were all amazing, so don't miss reading that.

Bathroom: The shower flooded the bathroom more than one and we had to mop it up -- the drain seemed to clog quickly, so back-to-back showers were risky. A sign on the bath wall read "don't throw towels in the toilet", I think they meant "toilet paper", so we put it in the trash, which was a bit disappointing. Doorways: I am 187cm and I had to duck my head through every doorway because they are too short to walk straight through -- this should have been mentioned in the ad. This is not a great place for tall people to stay. Bedroom: Bedside tables on either side of the bed would have been nice, but at least there are plugs on both sides (which is rare). Air Flow: There's barely any light in the bedroom because there's no window there, nor in the bathroom -- so there's no way to get air flow through the apartment unless you leave the front door open. We often had open a window and then prop the front door open to get air flowing, and hope no one walked in off the street. Would have been nice if a dehumidifier had been left out.

Beautiful accomodation, town & host. I wish I could have stayed longer!
