Super friendly host. Apartment with spectacular views.

A great, spacious detached villa with a gorgeous ocean and lighthouse view. It was perfectly sufficient for our 2-day stay...

The furniture and bathrooms were a bit dated, but it didn't bother us much for a 2-day stay. ​The main issue is the heating. If you visit during cold season keep in mind that you might get cold. The villa has no heating system except for a fireplace in the living room, which was insufficient to heat the whole house. ​Also, we checked in the evening and there was no firewood. The host suggested buying some from a nearby market, but it was closing at 19:00, so we barely made it. I wish there was information about this on Booking.com and the host had left some firewood in advance

Soutbos is an amazing place, with the greatest view. Very comfortable, spacious, and homely, with everything that you would need for your stay.

S.C. The location was awesome!! A real Wow, nearly next to the lighthouse and close by the most Southern point. The quietness and people told us it was very safe living in Agulhas. If you come from a city like Port Elizabeth safeness it's a treat.

The cleanliness was doubting. Not a clean shower and showerfloor (we put slippers on) and the bath in the other bathroom looked not inviting at all. Because of the water shortness we didn't use it anyway. Also the kitchen sinks could use a cloth with Handy Andy. And in the right bedroom the fitted sheet was full of "oily" spots. Old perhaps but not looking fresh for new guests. Bathmats there also not clean at all. And in the Booking note is: washing machine, dryer but you're not allowed to use it!! Strange.
