Residenza Callas II

The apartment was in the perfect location to explore the beautiful city of Verona. It was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Our host Cristina was so helpful and made checking in and out so easy.

There was nothing to dislike about this property.

I very carefully chose this apartment and I am pleased that I did. It could not have been better. Super clean , wonderful host , Cristina. The position was just perfect for us. Mere steps from the arena. It was quiet and a 5 minute walk from a little shop that sold fantastic fruits as well as water milk etc. I booked this rather than a hotel as my friend and I wanted 2 bedrooms. We had the bonus of 2 bathrooms too. Don't be put off by the bunk bed room as the bottom bunk is a very large single , more like a queen size. We walked to all restaurants and the Opera.Very safe area for 2 ladies. Maria Callas is said to have lived in this building ,there is a plaque on the wall, so for lovers of the Opera that was a lovely touch.

Sky tv would be great especially for kids Kids bedroom quite light as no blackout curtains Balcony rail quite low so not very safe for little kids

Very accommodating host , kept in contact and gave good tour of the apartment and recommended local food and gave us a map. Spotless apartment in great location . Very family friendly

Ideal location in the historical center, right down the block from the Arena and adjacent to loads of cafes, shops, galleries and more. Spacious, airy, clean, quiet, and modern apartment with elevator access (which was very helpful given our many suitcases). They were very accommodating regarding our arrival hour which was after the regular check-in hours listed. Cristina is awesome, friendly, accessible, available to answer any questions you may have. Fully stocked kitchen made it easy to cook some of our meals. Great apartment for kids!!

No parking adjacent to the apartment, and because it is a zone that has restricted traffic hours we could not drive up to the apartment door to drop off our suitcases (maybe because we arrived after-hours). This is not mentioned in the apartment description so be sure to take this into account. Parking is available at a private lot for an additional cost and a good 10 minute walk from the apartment, so my recommendation would be not to arrive with a rental car if you can avoid it. The apartment is lovely and worth the inconvenience, its just good to know this and take it into account in terms of your arrival plans.
