Central Whitby Seaglass studio

The room was very well kept, very clean and organised. The location was near to the centre and had lots of shops and food services nearby. The area was very quiet so we weren't disturbed when sleeping.

The shower was slightly difficult to operate as wasn't sure what taps controlled what. The door handle was difficult to get to lock.

Location was excellent. Facilities perfect . Lovely set up.staff little touches were very much appreciated

Just right plenty of places to eat not far from the town nice area!! Quirky bath in the living area, walk in shower in bathroom, everything you need for a couple of days visit !!

Not a proper kitchen, so can’t do more than reheat up food, not keen on washing up in the bathroom, I am slightly disabled so the three steps up to the front door were a bit of a struggle, my scooter packs up small but difficult to get up and down them!!

This place is delightful, compact and well equipped. I loved the novelty of being able to watch Netflix while in the bath 🤣 the owner is very nice, friendly and helpful. Great location situated amongst all the lovely little shops on Skinner Street. Despite being a busy area the noise levels were surprisingly okay at night. Shower is fab, hot and powerful enough for my big mop of hair. Beautiful Victorian building with its quirky features. Bed was comfy. We would definitely recommend and will return for sure.

Access to the property was quite tricky and (no fault of the owner) Booking.com didn’t send over all of the various access codes and instructions for access. The lovely helpful owner sorted it for us in just a few minutes when we rang her. Something I always look out for is when things aren’t clean underneath, and under the bed, bath and the settee were very dusty with cobwebs too. The cleaners need to get under and around the furniture, under the settee, the bed and down the side of the wardrobe with the vacuum cleaner. I’m sorry to be picky but as an arachnophobe, doing this would raise the marks from a 9 to a 10 (plus I believe in honest feedback).

Loved the layout of the studio flat. Everything we needed was there. The roll top bath was gorgeous but it was too warm to try out. Felt very safe as we were on the ground floor. The neighbourhood was fairly quiet and not too noisy on the weekend. Everything was close by. We are twice for breakfast at the restaurant over the road as the cater for people with wheat & lactose intolerances.

We could hear people (a child) stomping across the floor up above us. Informed the owner & they quickly contacted the owner of the flat above to see if something could be done. We weren’t being fussy as it lasted constantly from 6:30–10:30pm and also the next day for a several hours.

Cosy room, clean, liked that the hostess kindly left milk in the fridge to have a cup of tea on arrival, thank you.

Bed could have been more comfortable, dipping in the middle!
