Lovely, cosy yet spacious flat, close walking distance from the harbour, would stay again😊

The apartment was lovely. My friend and I couldn't fault it. Very comfortable and clean. We felt very at home there. It was in a good location opposite Pannett Park and not far to walk into the centre/front at Whitby. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning drinking tea. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. We had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to other people enthusiastically. Thank you Jim and Sarah x

This was a very attractive, clean and comfortable apartment a very short walk from Whitby town centre. Therefore it was a great place from which to explore the town. Whitby is a delightful town with many independent shops, cafes, restaurants and interesting things to see.

There was no on site parking but this was not clear from the Booking.com listing. A parking permit was provided in the property together with a map and a list of streets where it could be used. We did not use any of those streets but found unrestricted parking about 7 minutes walk away. Whitby was built long before cars and therefore there is a shortage of parking in the town centre. That said, the local authority run car parks had transferable tickets within the area.

The lounge and balcony was exceptional and very well furnished and comfortable. The master bedroom and en suite were also very comfortable and shower was powerful and hot.

The kitchen is a very small galley kitchen which will only accommodate 1 person at a time. Double bed with bunk over it is not really suitable for adults. Our guests kept banging their heads on the above bunk every time they sat up. Second toilet is very small and a large person may struggle to shut the door whilst seated. We didn't receive a welcome pack, but the owners kindly left us 2 scratch off parking permits for us and our guests, to cover our stay, although both cars were more than 5 mins away. The photos on Booking.com are very misleading as the parking out front is NOT for this apartment! It is for the guest house next door, but you can park on the double yellow lines for a maximum of 20 mins to unload/load your car, before finding somewhere to park.

Great position opposite the lovely Pannett Park, which our grandchildren loved exploring. The property is light and airy, nicely furnished, well equipped and very clean. Really enjoyed our brief stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
