AUthe property was positioned beautifully at the top of a hill with mountain views from every window. It is located perfectly not to far from a nice small country town and the highway. Julie the host provides everything you need in the cottage and is an inspiration , she is amazing how she looks after you and her farm animals.
There was nothing to dislike.. The drive way is steep up to the house, you just have to avoid washed out areas, but if you go slow it is easily doable in a small sedan car.
AUA lovely peaceful rural location removed from the hustle and bustle of town, but not too far away to be inconvenient. The kitchenette was well equipped with unexpected extras including an air fryer, two frypans and a hot plate. Condiments were included as well as paper towel, foil and glad wrap. There is something for everyone breakfast wise with a generous selection of cereals, jams and spreads as well as bacon, eggs, fresh fruits, juices, yoghurt, milk, butter and toast. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was deliciously hot. All in all we had a very comfortable and super pleasant two night stay and intend to come back for longer, as Hillview is well positioned to use as a base to get to everything the local area offers.
This is NOT a negative comment. You just need to be aware mobile reception is a bit hit and miss.
