Host & Stay - Skyline Apartment

It was cosy and clean.

We could not park our vehicle as it was too high for the carport.

The location was fantastic...5 minutes walk to harbour view was good ....top skyline floor ...could see castle 🏰 clean n tidy ....all i needed was in apartment eg iron hairdryer plates cups utensils

Sofa was stained badly and uncomfortable....an L shape sofa wud give more comfort and space to sit as there was 3 of us

Location was great, short walk to the town centre

Beds were tiny, bearly doubles. Sofa was filthy, all stained. Worse thing was there was a foul smell of sewage coming from the bathroom - most likely from Drainage attached to the bath as the water when emptying took ages to flow away. We rang the hosts emergency contact number and left a voice message on arrival to report the issue as the smell was that bad. No one got in touch during our stay. We managed to dissipate some of the smell by leave the window open and light on which kept the expel air fan running constantly - no great and poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend staying there to others.

Arriving a little early to the general location, we ended up paying £4.40 to park and wait 28 mins for the apartment to be ready - we were told cleaners were on site until 4pm check in and we could not arrive early. Then to see that the fridge shelf was dirty, the under sink cupboard dirty and the balcony floor and ledges filthy with bird droppings - I would expected this to have been cleaner.

Looking tired. Outside door into stairwell would not lock which is a security issue. If previous occupiers were charged £60 for cleaning it was not done properly. No handle in the bath/shower to assist older people get in and out

Great location great space and comfortable beds

Property mostly clean, and tidy.

Sofa was dirty and stained, Lounge rug was stained. Bedroom beside bathroom, carpet stained/dirty just inside doorway.

Great property, close to the centre of Whitby which is what we wanted
