Apt 103 - Andenes Whale Safari Apartments

Most amazing apartment below the Andenes lighthouse. Huge space including all amenities one can think of with a front view of the ocean. We reached amid severe gale, storm and snow and the apartment was warm and already prepared and the host messaged well in advance with all the check in and wifi details ensuring a seamless check in, in such conditions. Absolutely loved the stay.

Die Bettwäsche war sauber,

Wir haben das Appartement in einem sehr dreckigen Zustand vorgefunden. Z.B. dreckige Babywindel im Badezimmerschrank, dicke Staubschicht, Nägel und Werkzeug auf dem Wäschetrockner, Staub im Kleiderschrank, unaufgeräumte und kaputte Terrasse mit Zigaretten Kippen, benutzten Taschentüchern. Einige Ausstattungsgegenstände waren defekt, im Bad fehlten in 2 Lampen, die Leuchtröhren und Abdeckungen, die Steckdose über dem Waschbecken, an der ebenfalls nicht funktionierenden Lampe löste beim Einschalten des Föns einen Kurzschluss aus, der Campingklapptisch auf der Terrasse war kaputt, der Lichtschalter für das Terrassenlicht war mir Isolierband überklebt.In unmittelbarer Nähe befand sich eine Großbaustelle, über die vorher nicht informiert wurde. Die Bauarbeiten dauerten von 7.00 bis ca 19.00 Uhr und erzeugten Lärm und Staub. Der Eigentümer des Appartements wurde von uns sofort informiert, reagierte aber nicht auf unsere Beschwerde. Auch das Einschalten von booking com hat nichts erbracht.

Die Lage am Leuchtturm

Apartment ziemlich abgewohnt, nur oberflächlich sauber, Terrasse nicht wirklich nutzbar, da zugemüllt, keine nutzbaren Stühle/Tisch Tür zum Apartment klemmt extrem, nur mit großer Mühe zu öffnen Fotos im Angebot stimmen nicht mit Realität überein, keine Badewanne/Whirlpool, Küche sieht anders aus, Wohnzimmer ebenfalls

Building a facility and some construction noise

The apartment has a stunning view and is right onder the Lighthouse. There is enough space and an extra bedroom was made a few months ago. Pictures need to be renewed. The extension cord was broken and Hugo immediately replaced it the next morning. Communication was ok! Shower was excellent. Big bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Hottub wasn't there anymore The house is nearby the bird and whalewatching tours, just a few minutes walk. West side of the island is the most beautiful side.

Furniture was a little bit outdated, but fine with us.

Eine sehr große Wohnung (App.103) in Toplage, Blick auf den Leuchtturm und das Meer, 5 Minuten vom Start Walsafari entfernt. Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet in Küche und Bad.Der Vermieter ist super freundlich. Das Mobiliar könnte modernisiert werden (Couch). Toller Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung von ganz Andenes und Andoya.

The apartment had everything we needed. The view from the living room window was amazing. We parked our car in front of the apartment. The washing machine and dryer were extra. The whale safari was easy to get to. Easy and comfortable! I recommend it to everyone!

It is almost impossible to get from Gryllefjord to Andenes by ferry on a summer weekend. To get on the ferry, you have to have your car at the ferry terminal in the evening. The journey from Gryllefjord to Andenes is a long one to take by car. If you can't get in line in time, it's worth taking a direct route - it will save you a few hours. It's also worth preparing for the first ferry from Andenes in the morning (during the summer) by taking your car to the queue in the evening. Caravans often sleep in the queue.

A lovely spacious apartment, very comfortable and clean. Nice views, parking right at the door. Hugo has thought of everything you could need for your stay.
