Spacious Duplex in Antwerp Old Town

The location was great and the view from the property was good. But that is where it stops.

They do not note that the stairs to this third floor property are in disrepair and that they are treacherous to scale with luggage. This is a vital piece of information, but is not in any listing. There was no WIFI and the toilet did not work. After attempts at communicating with the property management company, We were left to our own and had to go to nearly restaurants and bars and buy items in order to use their bathrooms. Completely unacceptable.

The location is fantastic.

The property is quite run down and wasn’t very clean.

The distance from where you pic up the keys to the apartment is far to walk with luggage.

This apartment doesn't match the photos on Bookings.com at all. The staircase is so steep that you can not manage to go up and down with your luggage. The bathroom is on the top floor, and very uncomfortable.

Not very clean. in the bathroom clear signs of black fungus in the shower/bath. did not use it as this is potentially very dangerous for your health. the location is nice but very noisy at night.

being 6ft 5 I struggled getting up and down the stairs

The location is just perfect, dead center everything. Clean and cozy interior. Bars and breakfast places are literally just outside the door. Definitely value for money, would come back.

Kitchen utensils could be a bit more, although the bare basics are there, but for example not a kitchen knife and fridge cools slowly. No idea what is the minimum or maximum heat when using the stove. Shower works, but I have seen more comfortable ones. We didn't mind the noise outside, but you're not allowed to put on some music yourself.
