Antwerp old town appartment

You cannot beat the view. We opened the windows, arranged chairs in front of them and admired the Grote Markt with views of the statue and City Hall for hours. Check in and out was flawless. The apartment was was spotless and very fun. Having an ice cream shop below was an added benefit.

It is a market square so it can be noisy at time with folks that don’t know how to be courteous and respectful at early hours. But the location is worth it.

The apartment was very very nice, in a great location right on the square. It was extremely clean and well layed out. Check in was seamless and the hosts (Mady and Eva) were very nice and helpful. If we return to Antwerp we would certainly look to stay in this apartment again, it was perfect. The ice cream and waffles from the shop below was also incredibly tasty 😋. We parked a parking block just round the corner only 2 mins walk which was ideal for luggage etc.

Located in the heart of the historical center of Antwerp, the Old Town apartment is a charming flat equipped with all modern conveniences and tastefully decorated. It offers a beautiful view over the Oude Markt, where you can enjoy a glass of wine while watching the lively activities below. Attractions and shops are all within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

I loved everything about the property. The decor was fantastic. The central view of Grote market was amazing through the large old windows. The ice cream parlour below was an added bonus and I had an ice cream every day whilst people watching in Grote Market. Although on my own, I felt very safe. Photo I posted is the view from my room.

There is too much furniture in the living room area of this small apartment, but there are no bedside tables.

A lovely, spacious first floor apartment overlooking the Grote Markt which is a 15-20 minute walk from Antwerp Central Station. Communication with our hosts was excellent which made check-in/out very straightforward. The bathroom, kitchen and storage facilities are excellent, the bed is comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked well. We needed ear plugs at night to block out noise from the square and a late night bar nearby but this was not unexpected given the location and in no way spoiled our stay.

The terrace would be better described as a courtyard and could do with some maintenance and more comfortable furniture to make it more hospitable. However, this is a minor complaint, especially as the weather during our stay was not warm enough for us to want to drink or dine outside in the evening!
