BEAUTIFUL views. Clean, nice apartments with everything we could need. We could even order fresh pastries every day to our room. Amazing swimming pool with warm water. Peace and quiet all day. We also got our own private table outside. Francesca was so lovely and we had the best time!

Beautiful scenery, well maintained grounds. Good location for trips to Siena a/o. A very complete interior in the appartments. Breadservice in the morning. The owner is very friendly, she's an absolute gem in the rental business.

We were not aware of the status of the site as a tourist attraction itself. People stop at the side of the road, use drones to film, climb the surrounding hills, wander around the driveway and sometimes even come up to the house and apartments. Since the site is not entirely closed, people will do whatever it takes to get the selfie they want for their 'personal branding' on insta or whatever. It is sometimes very annoying to have to give up some of your privacy for the needs of these non-paying (let's call them) 'guests'.

We wanted a true Tuscan location and you can’t get anything more authentic than driving through the gates in to Baccoleno. The view, the accommodation, the friendly owners make this truly wonderful. It was beyond our expectations. It was hard leaving there.

The worst part was having to leave. The serenity of Baccoleno is beautiful.

Missing certain attention to little details like one of the window mosquito netting had a hole/ was torn, no basic provisions in the kitchen (oil, salt, pepper) and only one wine glass. I am sure if we asked, it would be provided but we wanted to have a bottle of wine at 11pm and as decent people felt it was not reasonable to wake the hosts to ask for an extra wine glass at that time of the night :( Also if you plan to do laundry, make sure to bring your own detergent as it's not provided. Unfortunately also the air-con was not working the time we were there.

This is our second time coming here! We love this place very much! Children feel as if they are at home! The owners are very friendly. Tuscany is a beautiful corner of the earth and this is the most picturesque and beautiful estate in Tuscany!
