- no elevator - door lock did not work properly

We liked the originality of the accommodation. The owner made everything in wood and it was exceptional. Even a sauna in our room. He met us and told us the history of the building, age, etc. Everythjng was clean and perfect. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave one day earlier due to a train strike.

Great location. Apartment was great. Bathroom was fabulous with a sauna. furniture was pretty comfy. Great place for a family to stay.

Great location - so close to the centre so very easy to walk everywhere. Lovely restored apartment, the woodwork is amazing. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.

Was (a few times) a little noisy given cobbled street with traffic outside our ground floor apartment. Would have been nice to have a sofa/comfy chairs but I'm being picky, we would definitely stay here again.

The flat is at the heart of the old town and is at the historic building (the floor and stairs in the staircase are a couple of centuries old, I suppose). It’s spacious enough and comfortable for a family of 4. Kitchen is well equipped. Very close to the cathedral (Dom) and Altes Rathaus, near the river.

It’s quite noisy from an early morning (traffic), but the earplugs are provided at the nightstands:) Two sets of linen were missing (there were 2 for the 4 people) but fortunately we found a cabinet in the corridor where the spare ones were stored;)

Great location near the center of the Altstadt, so you are certainly in the middle of Bamberg life and energy. Lots of students in this city, so has a young vibe - and lots of older visitors:) Excellent refurbished apartment, well equipped and spacious; good bathroom; good bed. Bedroom windows need blinds or darker curtains.

When we arrived we wondered why there were packs of ear plugs on the bedside tables .... we found out that night: street noise from revellers (especially on weekends) is incredible. And it continues till around 1:30am. The noise was the main negative to what was otherwise a wonderful stay in lovely Bamberg. Another somewhat unsatisfactory requirement is the method of payment - only by direct bank deposit prior to the stay.
