Temporary House de' Giudei

Location, location, location. This gem of an apartment is in THE BEST neighborhood in Bologna with great food and drink options and many beautiful and interesting sites within a short walk. We couldn't believe our luck each and every day to be quietly tucked up and away in such a desirable home base to explore this fabulous city. The host very kindly allowed us to check in a bit early, which really helped after our travels. The apartment itself is great ... clean, roomy, modern touches. It was great to have reliable AC during our stay during the heat of summer, and we also appreciated having access to a washer (helpful if you're packing light). There is even a grocery store nearby if you need to pick up any extras for your stay. I will recommend this spot to anyone I know planning a visit to Bologna.

The location was 100 % perfect, the apartment had a lot of space. The Two Towers is at the end of the street and the piazza maggiore a short stroll away. There are also lots of places to eat nearby. Although we didnt meet Marco, he communicated throughout the booking and our stay very well. Would recommend.

Perfect location.

Location is SO central. All the major sightseeing spots are within 10 mins walk. The apartment itself was really clean, shower was good, bathroom is clean and good size. The bedrooms (there are 2) are clean and comfortable. Living room/kitchen area is a decent size for hanging out - some other friends who were also visiting the city hung out for a few hours as we got ready for dinner and it felt spacious. We didn't use the kitchen appliances but everything is modern and in good condition.

Nothing to not like. It's on the first floor with no lift. Something to be aware of if you have mobility issues

There was no food provided but we expected none (not a B&B) The location was great. Easy walking distance for the reasonably fit, to train station, main sites, good options for dining, shops etc. The unit was on the first floor - bliss when 'fully-suitcased' .. The bathroom was modern, fresh and clean. Washing machine and Hair-dryer provided. Some coffee pods were provided for that emergency first cup or two :-) Marco called to check on our (happy) arrival/tenancy.

This rating system. I needed to tweak all of Q2 answers not at top level, a half-notch higher! Some who are light/noise-sensitive may find it hard to sleep, without closing the wooden shutters ... thus needing to engage in a debate/arm wrestle with 'the other' - who wants the shutters open for air-flow.

Great location, very comfortable bed, good communication with owner.

Lacked a grater for cooking, limited tea (5 x t bags) and coffee provided only instant or stove top espresso. Door to 2nd bedroom locked, only 3 dishwasher tablets and no cleaning/wipe down spray for kitchen. Could do with more clothes hangers. No washing machine powder/liquid. All of which for the price would expect to have provided.

The apartment was perfectly laid out. The kitchen was well equipped and the cooking facilities were excellent, good large fridge/freezer. We stayed for 9 days and we cooked every day so this was important to us and it served us very well. In short, it's a lovely, comfortable, well planned apartment. The location is perfect for accessing all the central sites and the shopping areas. There are bus stops close by which can be handy, once you've worked out where they go, and there is a convenient stop to get to the railway station. Check in worked perfectly.

Location and communication with owner.

Internet was slow, a few times. But most if the time it was fine.

The location was great, the house was very clean and spacious with 2 bedrooms and two queen beds , our host Marco was very responsible snd always available to answer the questions….the apartment was better than the pictures

maybe if there was an Nespresso machine it would be great

Location was awesome, as was the cleanliness, and the layout and functionality of the apartment…especially the storage areas. The owner, Marco, was very attentive and prompt to our needs and questions, especially regarding the parking choices.

No elevator to this 1st floor apartment; bed mattress (in main bedroom) was too hard & somewhat lumpy. Street noise and celebrations every night in the Jewish Quarter (apartment location) were quite disturbing at night.
