The plusses are: kind host, parking in front, relatively large rooms, windows blinds that block out sunlight in the morning, but that’s really it… We would not recommend this place based on our overall experience (bit disappointed)

Overall the apartment was not clean and poorly maintained. Everything breathes cheap or easy fix. - Doors don’t close (including bath- en bedroom) - Airco makes a lot of noise - Furniture is old and not comfortable. Kitchen - Some of the utensils are rusting, you have to wash everything before use, with a sponge that… - … had many hairs in it (not very nice to have to wash your dishes with other people’s hair...) - No decent trash bin (just a small open basket) - Not very easy to cook even simple food here Bedroom - Stained bedlinnen, and poorly made up bed (after the first couple of hours the “under layer sheets” are gone and you are laying on the old matras) - Very old and bad mattresses (you can feel the springs) Bathroom - Shower head doesn’t stay in one place (system is old and worn out) - Shower, sink and cabinet weren’t properly cleaned (seems just some superficial cleaning “for the eye”) (Added photos give an impression of overall state) Our previous two appartments in Croatia were superclean and comfortable, so it is really possible to do it much better than this.

Great location for exploring the island.

Area with a lot of mosquitoes. Bring all possible protection.

Our stay at Apartments Irena was lovely. The apartment was very clean and nice. Both bedrooms come with a nice view and the front terrace is a good place to relax. Allthough the apartment is right on the street, it was extremely relaxing to stay there and the traffic was really low to almost non existant. The location is great for both relaxing and exploring the island, the beach in Bozava is easily accessible by foot within 5, 10 minutes and offers great pine tree shade during the day. Lastly, the host was great - he greeted us at arrival and helped us out with advice on where to go. When our car broke down on the way to the ferry (after checkout) he was extremely helpful and has drove 10 km just to help us start the car again. Thanks for everything! I can only wholeheartedly recommend this place :)

Spacious and comfortable apartment, pet-friendly, nice garden and outdoor grill, very kind host who offered plenty information about the island

- super friendly host - apartment has a great size and is well equipped - you can easily reach other cities by car and easily walk down to the village harbor

- the address given led us to the center of the village, not to the place, and due to tiny streets it was a bit annoying to drive there. Then we called the owner and he met us and took us to the correct address.

Location is perfect if you are with the car. The price is good.

Sofa in living room too small. Thin walls.
