Perfect location, extremely central and clean apartment

We chose this property in particular because it is advertised that they have cots available and we travel with a baby. We specifically asked for the cot before arrival but when we got there it was not set. After calling multiple times, because they were not really responsive, they said the cot is in the closet. We had to set it ourselves and it was not the easiest task :)) The other real problem was that the baby bed did not have a mattress and it was not ok to put the baby directly on the wooden bottom. Usually one is supposed to buy a mattress for that type of baby bed.. we improvised something using the pillows from the couch but definitely not ok. And the cherry on top was that they did not provide any type of sheets for the baby bed… like we were supposed to guess that when you say you provide a cot for the baby, I have to come with a mattress and sheets for it… We probably would have chosen another property if we knew about the issues with the cot.

Comfortable and clean.

The apartment is situated in the heart of Brasov. It was big, the kitchen and the living room have plenty of space. The terrace is a nice addition since there are no balcony apartments in the city center of Brasov. The kitchen has almost everything, except a coffee maker which we think is the most important device for guests, generally. We liked the neighborhood cats that came to visit us occasionally. The furniture (wardrobe, nightstands, chest of drawers) smells new.

A crowded bedroom, with a very poorly designed space - the nightstands cannot be used, you cannot charge your phone as there are no available sockets. As a solution we plugged the table lamp near the dresser in order to have some light besides the chandelier. The 2 sleeping areas are divided by a French door (with glass) - you have no privacy in any of the 2 areas. If you sleep in the living and want to use the bathroom, you must enter the bedroom, therefore disturbing the ones that are sleeping. Moreover, another design flaw is that the chandelier from the bedroom turns on from the living room, so if you want to turn on the light in the bedroom, you must enter the living room and bother the people sleeping there (if there are any - and in our case they were). There is no coffee maker, and got no answer when asking for it. No real terrace furniture. Houses rules: wow...it was written that you have to wash your dishes. Even this a normal gesture, we prefer to do it ourselves not to be written as a mandatory rule, at the price you pay for this accommodation. A very high price for what is offered - except for the location. A wanna be designish apartment (even it is not really our style), but with many flaws.

It wasn’t cleaned at all, the balcony didn’t have a proper seat and table and the TVs were the worst

The location was smack bang in the center of all the action. Apartment was spacious, bed comfortable, Netflix available on the tv in the lounge and bedrooms. Property manager was quick with communication and was willing to go above and beyond to help out with a delayed baggage issue I had. Try Soul restaurant (octopus was divine!) across the road and the Cucino restaurant next door - you won’t be disappointed.

1. The fireplace did not generate heat. It’s there purely for aesthetics, however, the apartment is plenty warm for the multitude of column heaters and it’s controlled centrally so staying warm is definitely not a problem. It was disappointing because one of the reasons for choosing this property over others was because of the fireplace. 2. The washing machine was stuffed with dirty sheets that looked mouldy and even a pair of men’s underwear. Unfortunately, I had to use the washing machine during my stay (no laundry detergent provided so I bought some and left it for the next guest). 3. Early check in was requested. I know this is subject to availability and confirmation, which I got but when I went in at 1pm, the apartment hadn’t been cleaned.
