Friendly helpful hosts Very nice apartment, with balcony and river views

1. Beautiful view of the river from the balcony. 2. Host received us and showed us around the spacious apartment. We were given 2 small bottles of complimentary wine. 3. Bedroom is huge and faces the beautiful Moselle river. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. 4. Even though it's located near the main road, the traffic noise wasn't obvious. Note that the kitchen is on first floor and bedroom on the second floor, so be aware that this may pose challenges for those with mobility problems.

1. No toiletries (shampoo or shower gel) provided. So bring your own. 2. Wifi didn't work properly on our first day (it was spotty) . We informed the owner to reset it, and they probably did the next day as it worked after that, but only on the second floor (where the bedroom is). It still didn't work on the first floor where the kitchen is. Unlike the local tourists who have their own data roaming, they wouldn't need the WiFi provided. Being international tourists and having to pay for data roaming, having good wifi connectivity is very important to us, so please don't say that nobody has complained before. 3. The floor heating didn't work, and the apartment was very cold for the 3 nights that we stayed there. 4. Pillows were extremely soft. But that seems typical of pillows in Monschau and the nearby towns, not just this accommodation. Regardless, I would recommend this place for those visiting Briedel or using it as a base as these are minor issues that do not detract from the overall great place.

Super schöne Ferienwohnung. Sehr sauber in einer schönen Umgebung mit einer super Aussicht auf die Mosel. Die Wohnnung war top und mit allem ausgerüstet was man für das tägliche Leben benötigt. Das große Doppelbett war für uns eine Wohltat und ermöglichte uns einen erholsamen Schlaf. Die Gastgeber Familie war sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit .

Nichts war negativ. Wir haben angenehme Tage verbracht.

Vier nachten hier verbleven, op doorreis met de fiets. Sleutels bij aankomst van de hosts ontvangen, zeer vriendelijke mensen. Duitstalig, spreken ook Engels. Een ruim split-level appartement, met onder de keuken en boven de slaap-, zit-, badkamer en het balkon. Prachtig uitzicht op de Moezel en de heuvels. Appartement was schoon en netjes. Gelegen aan een drukke weg, maar dat wist ik van tevoren en het geluid van het verkeer heeft mij niet gestoord. Met de ramen/deuren dicht hoor je het nauwelijks, slapen ging prima. Briedel is klein en heeft weinig te bieden maar de locatie als uitvalsbasis is uitstekend, zeker gezien de prijs per nacht. Zeer mooi stukje Moezeldal met Pünderich, Zell en Merle nabij (uitzichttoren Prinzenkopf is fantastisch!) en Cochem, Beilstein, Traben-Trarbach en Bernkastel-Kues ietsje verder weg. Ik heb in twee weken de hele Moezel afgefietst endit was voor mij het mooiste gebied. Ik heb een wijnproeverij gehad van de eigenaar die zijn wijnen met veel liefde maakt en daar met veel passie over vertelt. Een verblijf bij deze familie is echt een aanrader.
