Via Funicolare

Excellent, only pleasant memories. Nice hosts, beautiful surroundings, comfortable apartments, everything very good. We hope to return someday.

Beautiful stay! One of the best of our holiday. Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic location, right on the funicular in Brunate. Paola was a wonderful host, incredibly friendly. The apartment had great facilities and a beautiful view. 10/10, will most definitely be back to stay here :)

The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Brunate itself is a mountain village with lovely views of the lake and about a 15 minute drive up the mountain from Como. It is a quiet community but there are cafes and restaurants to explore. The funicular was not in operation during our stay, which was a disappointment, but we hired a car so we were able to get around.

The appartment is large, clean and cozy. The owners were friendly and helped us with great suggestions for our trip. The views from Brunate are breathtaking. Also, the access via Funicolare is great.

No self check in option. A bit chilly in September inside the appartment due to italian heating legislation and lack of carpets on the floor.

Clean, spacious, well equipped, unique location. Funiculare trip up to Brunate is very scenic. It’s nice to have coffee and tea available. Kitchen also has spices etc to use.

Without a car, you need to use the funiculare to get to Como and back. Cable car is very popular at times due to the beautiful scenery and you may have to queue for long to get on the transport.

Host was friendly, location - mesmerising. Apartment clean,spacious, neighbourhood quiet and friendly. Host exceeded my expectations, explained to us where we can eat, shop,get to town etc. Bed was as comfy as at home, first time ever I was able to fall asleep in new location straight away. Facilities had all we needed, host had snacks for us and main things for cooking. Clean and plenty of towels for all of us. This was the best apartment we ever stayed at, and the best holiday we had. We love Brunate, lake Como and Italy. Thank you for your friendliness and warm welcome❤️

Lost reception at the Brunate, therefore lost connection to maps to guide me to the apartment. But I called host and managed to let know where Im and they came to see me and guided to the parking. Tip for everyone-always let your host know when you are coming and where you are so they can expect a call from you, as our host was ready for us. I was happy I told them where we are and how long it will take to get to them while I had reception.
