did not have brush or pan if you spilled anything no mop it would be ideal if you had it in the flat

I enjoyed my stay at the Yellow Hive. The property was clean, comfortable and in a great location.

The only negative I had was trying to obtain the keys from the lock boxes - this was troublesome and I did need to contact the host twice. The host was very helpful when contacted but it would have been better if gaining entry to the apartment and the main building door was easier.

Great location for university

No WiFi,which impacted the heating.Check in was at 3 but had to leave property when we arrived because place hadn't been cleaned so had to walk around with our luggage until after 4 o'clock. A bit tight for room.No curtains to block out street lights in front room.

The apartment was very clean, especially the bathroom. It's very modern. We had an issue on the first night with a fire alarm that was beeping loudly every minute. I got in touch with the owner and it was immediately fixed for us. The owner has obviously gone to great effort to give any local information you might need and to make it all as easy to use as possible. There are some great places to eat very nearby - Maggie Mays on the corner next to the Botanical Gardens does wonderful breakfasts and brunch and lunch (cash only) and there is a gorgeous Italian place very nearby too.

The apartment is decorated in a very modern way which is obviously to people's taste, but as it was small I found it very dark and a little oppressive. There isn't really anywhere to relax, just a very small futon couch in the breakfast area for two people. The internet is very poor everywhere but in the front bedroom which caused issues. The key box is quite difficult to get into and each time we had to try three or four times. It was quite a taxi ride into the centre of Belfast, a little further than I thought.
