El Jardin

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. L'appartement est grand, la literie confortable, à 15mn à pieds de l'embarcadère, restaurants de la ville, mais c'est sportif au retour !

Il manque quelques équipements dans la cuisine : pas de grille pain, manque de vaisselle, d'ustensiles de base.

There are 2 flats available and we got the one with a view of Lake Como from the living room, the bedroom and the bathroom. The flat had lots of space for us, and the kitchen had all the utensils you need to cook a simple meal. The fridge-freezer was big too! The shower was excellent and there is a washing machine in the bathroom but we did not use it. We arrived by train and walked to the flat by a very scenic, very steep cobbled path. That was fine for us but could be a challenge for some.

The windows were frosted glass so we could only admire the lake view by opening the windows, so not an option when it was cold.

Space was clean. Public parking was available right in front of the house

Many basic necessities were not available in the bathroom (shower gel, shampoo) or in the kitchen (no olive oil, old coffee). No dishwasher. No balcony. No opportunity to self-check-in / out. One dish was not clean in the pantry above sink and had rests of food. Pictures are a bit misleading as I was expecting 2 bedrooms and instead there was one bedroom and 1 sofa bed in the living room.

The host was very nice! Great views of the lake, mountains and the town. We arrived by car and there was free parking right outside the house. Wish we could have stayed longer.
