Chesa Dominium

Cozy flat, good quality of furniture and kitchen tools. It had everything I needed to cook or bake. You could even borrow a caquelon if you wished to make fondue. The furniture of the flat reminded my childhood skiing holidays, so that was a lovely surprise. Great view from the balcony onto the valley and the village. There was even the possibility to buy basic supplies in-house, which I found very thoughtful of the owners. There was also a collection of pamphlets for activities and books to borrow, table tennis table, large playroom for kids. The owners were very pleasant hosts.

It's a short way up the hill from the village centre. Took me 10min to walk up and 6 to get down, which can be a slog when you are tired. The view is magnificent, though.

A lot of thought and effort has gone into curating hiking maps / outdoor information for travelers and there is a small bookshelf store in the lower level for items such as soap and shampoo if you forgot to bring them. The views from the room were amazing and constantly changing and it was a quick downhill walk to the train station, past a small herd of goats behind a fence. We appreciated the car ride up the hill from the train station when we arrived, and meeting our host was a highlight. There are custom signs for Chesa Dominium added below city road signs so you can not get lost coming from the station, very thoughtful.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Chesa Dominium. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view onto the valley from the house. The kids were thrilled with the outdoor playground and the Lego boxes available in the house which you can take into your apartment. The hosts are very helpful and caring. We loved the small Swiss chocolates as welcome gift. We had a wonderful time and we recommend this place for a families.

It's like a home from home with everything you could need. Very helpful host, who provided information and a lift to and from the station. And of course the surroundings/Bergün is beautiful.

It seems there is a problem on the booking website so that it is not completely obvious that there is an extra payment to be made for city tax and laundry.

Host picked us up from the train station, which was fantastic. The location was amazing, with private balcony and views of the mountains and the town of Bergun. Host was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean and well appointed. The children's play room, sauna and 'shop' with stocks of essentials were great additional touches. We loved our stay.

The apartment was lovely, it was very welcoming and the kitchen was well equipted.

No draw backs at all.
