Great apartment, very homely. good location and parking

Our host advised us that the rental unit was not suitable because of loud renovation activities in a nearby suite, and she offered us "Angel's Sunset" as an alternative, which we appreciated. The alternative had impressive views and nice decor.

The location of the alternative was more remote, and the access to parking was extremely steep. The unit was in need of repair. The plaster was cracked in numerous places, especially in the kitchen. There was a knob missing from the oven, a button missing from the toilet, and the dish rack and soap dispenser were rusty. The host did not respond to my question about the availability of pool towels.

Very comfortable, plenty of space, great views and all the facilities and equipment we needed. Friendly and helpful host in Elisabete who provided welcome biscuits, wine and homemade liquor. Nice pool.

We are‘getting on a bit’, didn’t want the hassle of driving so the very steep walk from the beach was a ‘challenge’. Meant we walked down but taxied back after a couple of tries.

very friendly host :-) very nice apartment with everything you need. Great view from the balcony and nice pool in the garden. Handover of keys and briefing was personal and uncomplicated. We have also received good tips for the island

Beautiful spacious apartment. Fabulous views. Host was so friendly. Left us some Madeira wine to try and biscuits. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Shops and restaurants within a mile. As with many places in Madeira it is on a hill. A mile walk down to the beach and all up hill on the way back. Or better - grab a taxi 😃 Sandy beach with sun beds at a reasonable price.

We really liked the personality of Elisabete. She is a very friendly host. The apartment was clean. On every morning, the view was spectacular from the living room. It was a well equipped flat.
