Wasn't any

Our flight was delayed 5 hours and someone waited until 3am for us and kept in touch until we arrived. There was a slight miscommunication with the assistant not knowing it had changed to 3 people instead of 2 and even after waiting so long for us, felt the need to stay and make the bed of the second room and make sure we were comfortable. Service was definitely 10/10. The apartment itself is big and absolutely gorgeous decorated in a modern minimalist style with a balcony looking over the sea we loved it immediately. Everything was clean and nicely arranged. The complex is inside a gated community with a pool and we never felt unsafe getting home late, the area is quiet and just a short walk down the hill leads you to a number of restaurants and a supermarket. Getting into Funchal's city centre from here is about 15 mins drive and €12 - €20 by taxi depending on the time of day there was also an option by bus which would take much longer, about 40 mins at €5 each, as it was three of us we took taxi most of the time (they use Bolt here). All in all we loved our apartment, the space, the location, the amenities everything was exceptional!

Superb, large 2 bed apartment with lovely balconies and views. Generous sized rooms and a particularly nice en suite bathroom.

Disappointingly, no welcome pack with info about the apartment, the town and Madeira. Lovely views to front, but quite a noisy busy road to look out over to the sea.

Beautifully decorated large apartment with an amazing sea view. Really nice location close to airport and Funchal. Loved being in the property, made for a relaxing trip.

Apartment is just amazing. Very specious living room with dinning table, and huge lovely balcony with a view over the ocean. Next to it there is a seperate kitchen with any possible amenities you can imagine, and a small dinning table for breakfast with the view as well. There is also a main bathroom with bathtub, and two more bedrooms. Second bedroom has another bathroom with shower and another balcony with the sea/pool view and comfortable sunbeds. Beds were also very comfy and we had very nice sleep. The host was very nice and helpful. There is a garage with direct access to the elevator to go to the apartment which was really handy. The apartment is very well located, 10min from both Funchal and Airport, close to the highway, but not in that close and not loud at all. One night we took taxi (Bolt) to the center of Funchal, was 10eur one way. Highly recommended place to stay! One of the best private places I have stayed, after having 50+ bookings on this platform. We already checked summer availability to come back.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like.

The place is amazing. Very spacious and there is so much light. We liked the location and it has a private garage for a car. And assistant of the host Lucia was very helpful.

Loved the size of the flat. The view of the ocean was exceptional. The check-in was super smooth. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. Very comfortable bed. Nice bars and restaurants within a ten-minute walk.

No complaints! If I were being VERY picky I'd say it's a 25-minute bus ride to Funchal which is a little long. Something to be aware of if you're planning to go to Funchal a lot. But the bus stop is right outside the flat so that's good. However, there are some nice restaurants around in Canico anyway so we were happy to explore there!
