Old Town Apartments Catania

We had an amazing couple of days in Catania, and the apartment we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It’s really close to everything, and the ladies who provided the accommodation were fantastic—very helpful and kind. They even helped me organize a little surprise for my partner before we arrived. Thank you, ladies—you were awesome!

Staff members are incredibly friendly and communicative! Prior to the stay we received a lot info and everything was very transparent from the beginning. Romi was so good to book for us a trip to Etna and we could even rent the trekking shoes! :) Great location! Everything so close in historical part of town, you are able to leave the car on the street for couple of days and just walk around the most important spots in the city. Very safe as studio was located out behind two big gates in nice yard. Separated from the street. Clean faculties and a lots of small things (sun blocks available, small welcome snacks and map of the city). Before even entering the apartment Romi sent us best spots for eating out and must-see places which was incredibly helpful! :)

The only thing is lack of proper soundproofing, so if you are a light sleeper bring your ear plugs. But it is not a huge problem. You can hear lift nearby and steps from other apartment or tv. Those noises are not super disturbing.

Hosts were great, it was very easy to communicate with them. They gave us lots of recommendations.

The apartment is well-situated near the touristic center of Catania. It's in less than 10 minutes walk to St. Agatha's cathedral, the fish market, Ursino castle, and a variety of local shops and restaurants. The apartment is equipped with a kitchenette, a small refrigerator, and an air conditioner. The host, Luca, was extremely welcoming, meeting me at the apartment on arrival, giving a lot of useful advice on navigating around the city, what to see, where to eat, etc.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of the building, and the only window is the glass door, so the room does not get much of a natural light, and I had to keep lights on even during the day. Some of the bathroom facilities looked a bit weary.

Our experience with this accommodation was great. It was exactly like in the pictures, clean and very close to the centre. The hosts were amazing, very kind, helpful and they were available to answer all of our questions. At night is a little bit cold and it may be sensed in the accommodation, but it is equipped with an AC that can be used for heating.

I had a wonderful stay at Old Town Apartments Catania. The apartment looks exactly like the photos and was very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. They also gave me amazing recommendations for places to visit and where to eat, which helped me make the most of my time in Sicily. Highly recommend staying here for both the lovely space and the genuine hospitality!

This charming and cozy apartment is situated in the heart of the old town. Everything we needed was just a short walk away. The hosts were incredibly polite and helpful, assisting us with booking excursions and being available for any questions we had. I highly recommend the "Old Town Apartment," and anyone who chooses to stay here will be very pleased with their decision.
