The View is great , the apartment is large

The location for my needs were good and the view from the balcony was great!!

The apartment has amazing view on Etna and the whole city. It is also close to very good fish restaurant. Owner was also very helpful.

It is quite far away from city center and it takes some time (sometime) for water in shower to heat up.

Big balcony and comfortable bed.

Would be a plus to have wi-fi access included

The apartment is well equipped, its main advantage is the wonderful terrace with a panoramic view of Etna. The surrounding area offers the opportunity to shop in typically Sicilian shops, bakeries and butchers, where the food is always fresh and fantastic and the people nice. The apartment is far from the central part, getting there by public transport is not very reliable (in general, public transport in Sicily is not very reliable). By car it is relatively quick (easy by no means, because driving in Sicily is an extreme experience). In the center you can find a parking space, in the direction of the port it is easier, for a whole day the price is about 6 euros, which is acceptable. You can easily park in front of the apartment, free of charge.

* Andreas the owner is a top 👍🏻💯. if we had to rate the landlord he would have a 10!! he is always ready to help and to give advise. he also waited us (very late at nigth) to give us the keys after our flight has a delay and we had some complications arriving to the apartment. *it is a pet friendly apartment 🐶🐱 * the terrace has quite stunning views and a bbq that can be used * we can have a late checkout which was very convenient for our traveling plans * it is very difficult the parking nearby, but Andrea recommended us a private parking like 5 min walking from there.

* the bathroom has a constant sewer smell. * you can hear the elevator sounds from the master room.( and they are not soft sounds.) .they start early in the morning whenpeople uses the elevator to go out to work. this can disturb your sleep. * the hot water in the shower worked some times , others not. Andrea check on it , but even after that it keep doing up and down. * the apartment is far from the city Center and in a hill. so if you don’t have car is quite difficult to move from there ( the bus stop is nearby but the times for buses in Sicily is quite random, the first day we were waiting there for a while and nothing came, so we had to go down by foot…it take us long time to go down!!😫😫 * the (very creepy and old) elevators arrive to the 6 floor, but this apartment is like a “7 floor” so even after you take the elevator you still have to climb some upstairs (with your luggage or supermarket shoppings) . *the last day random people just opened a back door in the terrace and climb on the roof. we were quite stunned since we thought the terrace was private and we were not warned with anticipation about works to be carried on the roof. We didn’t like the intrusion and give us a feeling of insecurity (since anyone can just open that door and immediately be on the apartment terrace )

Location is out of the city centre
