Cefalù Caldura house

Great location, host was easy to communicate with, keys were easy to locate. It was fantastic to have parking on site easily accessible. I liked that the locations wasn’t in a busy area, however please note the hotel literally next door hosts weddings and if there is one in when you are there you will hear their music etc.

The apartment could have been a bit cleaner as my feet felt dirty walking around barefoot inside. No major issues at all.

View was amazing. Location was quiet. Cute place! Huge parking area very close to the property.

Be aware there are a lot of steep steps to get to your room if you book the room at the bottom of the house. But it is well lit and has handrails.

The location was excellent. The walk to the old town in Cefalu was 25 mins, but returning to the tranquil settings of the apartment make the walk well worth it. The outdoor terrace was wonderful, despite the poor weather. The inside space on the lower apartment was small, but comfortable and more than made up for with the outdoor terrace. There are many seps down to the property, which we felt adds to the charm of the place, but take care if you have heavy/large bags. Would recommend this apartment.

The property was great, the location and views were awesome. Just a 20 min walk into town so you could enjoy all of Cefalù but also retreat to this quiet cozy space on the sea. Would highly recommend. The host was great and easy to communicate with also.

The location is stunning! Very private with easy access down to the sea. Super cute Sicilian interior with all the essentials to make your stay feel more like home. The town center is an easy 15-20min walk around the coastline but also far enough to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the town and main beaches. It was a dream to wake up and stare out the bedroom window followed by coffee on the terrace. The host’s father was also kind enough to pick us up from the train station which made getting to the property all the more welcoming.

The appartment was very cosy, well equipped, clean and offered a wonderful view of Caldura bay! The airconditioning was very good! The owner was very helpful and kind. Just be aware that the appartment for 4 persons have the small terrace. There are tables and chairs for 4 people but you sit in a row. It was no problem though. Please note that the terrace only has sun in the early morning - from about 7 am to about 9.15. Nice to know. But really enjoyed it without sun - had enough of sun during daytime.

There was nothing wrong with the appartment - all good. The disappointment was that Booking.com advert said that there was a grocery store 400 meters from the appartment. This was not correct. There was NO grocery store somewhere close..The one they referred was closed permanently. So a car, bus or taxi is needed or highly recommended for shopping water and groceries. Another thing was that the parking offered by the owner of the house was too small for our car. But, the owner was VERY sweet and helpful and showed us a free parking in the harbour only a 5 min walk away. Problem solved😊

Lots of stairs down to the property which made it hard with suitcases. Further from the town than anticipated and no buses at night. Very difficult to restock supplies without a car.
