Beautiful lodge, spotless, fantastic location and well equipped

struggled with mattress due to bad back but the rest of the lodge was faultless

A good location for us to visit family and friends. The lodge was very clean and comfortable.

The kitchen in the lodge had a big fridge/freezer but this was broken and had been replaced by a tiny fridge/freezer. There was no note or apology regarding this. As we were out and about this was fine, but if we had stayed longer then this would not have worked for our family. There were also a few items missing, like oven gloves and a cheese grater.

very nice breakfast, plentiful and well presented.

we were using the accommodation as a base camp to tour around, Cheddar, Wells, Weston, Burnham on sea, Glastonbury and Street. So we did not require any other facilities on site although a walk to a pub at night would have been a fitting end to the day.

Great location, plenty of parking, easy check-in and out, great value for money Freeview TV with all the catchup and subscription apps (log in with own user, but it's a smart TV) Nice touch to have 2 bottles of water, ice cubes and a couple of tea bags and coffee sachets to start you off Nice to have access to small grass field in front of lodges, playing ball with kids and games

Couple of essential things missing (table spoons, oven glove, hand soap, hairdryer) I always bring my own hair dryer so this didn't affect my stay, but struggled using the oven without an oven glove and eating cereal with a tea spoon was odd Could have done with extra pillows too, only 1 per person wasn't enough for us No hand soap, when dish soap was provided... I brought my own and left it there for next guests, but expected this small hygiene item in a luxury lodge

It was great location, and lodge was lovely and comfortable decking area to sit out with a lovely view.
