Quiet tranquil location in the beautiful countryside of the Brentor area and close to the outstanding landmark of St Michael's Mount with it's 360° landscape view at the summit.

Nothing not to like apart from getting used to some of the leafy narrow lanes again!

The hosts were lovely. The views from the bedroom, the garden, the birds, all amazing. We liked the charm of the cottage. It is well equipped and very clean.

The humidity is high in the cottage. This is due to the building being old as explained by the host.

I was a little sceptical having just read the recent scathing review but i cant say i agree with aything that was said and maybe this property just wasnt for them or they hadnt done thier research prior to booking.The property was as described with a lovely bathroom, kitchen with ample facilities and the location was stunning set in the Devonshire countryside with lots of wildlife to see. You get a whike annexe for your money not just an ensuite room as I normally stay in and yes the property is old and has bags of character and this is reflected within the annexe itself with the style and furniture. I didn't check every cupboard, nook and cranny but I found the accommodation very clean and welcoming indeed. Deb and Mark were fantastic and welcoming and even recommended a few local pubs to grab a bite to eat. Came across this after my original accommodation was cancelled but will definitely stay again and even bring my girlfriend and dog to enjoy the walks.

Clean bedding, comfortable beds and soft clean towels. Nice view from front of property.

Dreadful location to find property. TOTALLY UNSUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES. Sharp incline with potholes from car parking area to property. Dangerous in darkness. Filthy throughout with mould like black marks in fridge, remnants of food left in fridge, grill, unhygienic microwave, mugs unclean, grubby kettle with black marks which needed scrubbing before use, broken drawers in ancient chest, old worn sofa & armchair, paintwork marked, peeling, filthy, dusty, sticky and greasy in many areas, so on and on…awful uneven, unsafe outside sitting area

Beautiful location The annexe was clean, had everything you could need, very comfortable bed. Also loved watching the wildlife from the window. Debbie was a great host.

Lovely quiet, pretty space in rural Dartmoor. Comfortable accommodation and fully equipped for self catering.
