Loft Apartment nr Bath & Bristol with hot tub

everything except the heating

The room was very cold and there were no controls in the property so we had to phone to ask for heating to go on which wasn’t ideal and we felt a bit uncomfortable doing that. As it took so long to warm up we couldn’t really plan for the heating etc. The hot water also didn’t last for more than one shower and was never really warm.

Beautiful property, hot tub is amazing. Can't fault house but there are a few buts...

Inside property there were no heating controls and we had to ask twice for heating to be put on in November. Apparently, people are usually out walking and there are blankets was the response from host. Place was not the cosy retreat we had imagined and we had to wear coats.  Driveway to property is simply not suitable, full of massive potholes very, very narrow and difficult to reverse onto. Walking up the slippery long grass to get to property in winter is plain treacherous and we snagged our coats on branches getting out of car. So that, and attitude of host was enough to put us off. May suit your more hearty rugged outdoor types.

All little touches like different teas, and other condiments provided. Great quality towels and the bed so very comfortable. There was nothing that we didn't have. We also had a little BBQ aswell with plenty of cutlery and plates provided. Lovely and warm aswell which was brilliant. Lovely towelling robes provided aswell which was great as we spent most of our time in the hot tub. Brilliant hot tub. We didn't want to leave. Thank you so much to Anne who was very welcoming.

The hot tub was amazing, it was really nice, relaxing amd romantic sitting in the hot tub I'm the evenings in your on little secret garden. The bed was so comfy and the room was beautiful the pictired didn't do it justice, the shower bathroom was lovely. Having cooking facilities was good as we could make our own food and the selection of complimentary tea and coffee was a nice touch. The hosts were super helpful and there is a little helpful book in thr room with everything you need to know. There was lots of trails to go for a nice walk, we didn't due to the weather. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, a lovely little get away.

Having to check out at 10 I think is too early, even though we didn't check out till abit later as we were running late ans the hosts were lovely and didn't se to mind at all. Maybe change check out to 1200.

The location is beautiful a very chilled place to stay.

gorgeous secret garden & the property was very quaint.

the drive is very awkward to get onto & cutting the brambles & stingers may make it easier to see where you need to go, it does state the drive is difficult in the write up but as it was raining on arrival it was also slippery on the grass. definitely a drive to reverse on. but once parked your in a beautiful place.
