Central Located One Bedroom Apt

very nice, clean, comfortable, lovely equipped and central apartement. hosts give lot of information and are easy to contact.

sometimes you can hear the noice from the street, but not that lot that it is bothering.

location and value for money

The apartment was clean, comfortable and had the basics for cooking and cleaning available for free. There was a selection of coffees (filter, pods and instant) along with a good selection of herbal and breakfast teas. The bathroom had shower gel and shampoo. A mini-supermarket is m minutes away. The main food concourse is literally a few steps away from your door, but as it is a around a corner the apartment is still peaceful. I got a good haircut from the barber on the corner and one of my favourite coffee shops in Bristol was minutes away. When I needed to work the table was a decent size and the wi-fi was strong and constant. At one stage I could have done with an HDMI to USB-C lead as I didn't have mine, but that isn't something I would have expected to be provided. I thought I had left something behind and the owners communicated with me quickly and were friendly.

For me, the bed's mattress was too soft - but having said that most people aren't 6'2" and 19 stones so I doubt it would be a problem for the majority of people. Also, I ended up sleeping on the pull out sofa in the front room which was a lot firmer and bigger which meant that I slept well for the two nights I was there.

Clean carpets, attractive decoration, TV, wifi, pretty clean kitchen and bathroom, nice toiletries.

Late check out agreed then cancelled without apology or explanation, and when I followed up I was told that 'we need to follow rules' as if we had never agreed a late check out. Heating hard to control with no thermostat - required constant fiddling at night due to ridiculous automatic programming. Windows hard to open and won't stay open, long black hairs in the bathmat, water not hot enough for a hot bath and water temperature dial broken on the boiler. Toilet paper very cheap and scarce, bedroom cushion had a sour human smell. Desk can't be used due to lack of space. Bed too soft, sofa dips down in middle seat, so I ended up sleeping on the floor. Huge 'Welcome' book with multiple "PLEASE READ" pages, "boiler goes off at night" sign and warning not to steal kitchen items or be fined £100 didn't feel welcoming or friendly, felt cold, threatening and inappropriate to add rules that should be included in the booking.com instructions so I could choose to stay with someone less resentful. Anywhere the phone number was mentioned said "EMERGENCY ONLY" so I didn't feel I could reach out easily as it clearly wasn't wanted. I wasn't made to feel at home and won't return.

Lovely spacious flat. Very central. Good communication from the host. Good facilities. Really enjoyed our stay

It was a bit noisy on Saturday night. There was ground coffee but nothing to make a cup of coffee with it.

everything good

location was outstanding . it’s walking distance to literally everything - st Nicholas market, the waterfront, stokes Croft to see street art, shopping, music venues, walking paths , parks, castle ruins etc ! also the bed was sooooo comfortable !

luggage storage before checking in was a challenge , but I was able to safely store it at the art museum once it turned 11 am.
