"Excepcional"

10.0

9.0

Walking distance to ski lift Easy check-in and check out via keybox

In principle, the place is kind of ok and has most of everything, but there are lots of things one needs to know before selecting this place. -with respect to parking, we arrived and found there was no on-site parking.  Street parking, when there’s snow, is not allowed, so trying to park in front is taking a chance.  The renter said there were some spots nearby, but he wasn’t clear which ones.  There were spots nearby, but on other properties.  He suggested to park down the street- you should be prepared to not find any parking spots at the two small lots he suggests.  The lots are not far, but with luggage and such, not great and almost always full -the heating is via a pellet stove and the owner doesn’t leave any instructions.  He says on the phone it’s all automatic, just add pellets and he can even monitor and control it via his app.  The problem is his assumption when he asked us if we knew how to use a pellet stove is that their pellet stoves are universal when other countries have different types.  So we looked online for instructions from the manufacturer and watched youtube videos.  They gave the impression that this stove had an ignitor, but we couldn’t get anything to ignite, so we found some of those flammable cubes in the basement to start the fire.  Next problem: no lighter.  There’s an empty lighter in the kitchen, though.  So we had to light the cubes in the stove by lighting a piece of paper or something and walking around the excessively large kitchen table before burning our fingers so we could light the cube and some pellets. Then after, you have to hit a button to get the blower fan running to make the fire hotter and self-sustaining which doesn’t happen all the time and the control panel is practically random on what happens and what it does.  Also you have to bring up 15kg sacks from the basement up and there’s no way to stop the stove once it’s started-it will keep shooting pellets into the fire until it’s empty. So bring a lighter, I...
