I have stayed here before and would do so again, it is the most cosy, relaxing and homely place with a wonderful atmosphere. An amazing location right by the church and the parsonage, everything you could need for a few nights stay. The host made sure to let me know parking arrangements in advance although it was not necessary as we take the Brontë bus to Haworth which is a great way to get there and avoids the parking situation!

There are some areas of the room which were a little dusty, but that was not a big deal really. Also the toilet seat swings to the side when you sit on it which is a little disconcerting! It's a quirky place and comes with creaks and groans and uneven floorboards but that is part of the charm!

"Haworth itself is such a pretty quaint village and all the pubs and restaurants were amazing!"

8.0

Very good location right next to the Brontë parsonage but the property really needs a good clean. There were dirty bin bags at the entrance and the “pretty courtyard “ was full of old washing machines and hoovers- even an old toilet!

"Very Comfortable Bed, Communicative Host"

7.0

The bed was very, very comfortable and the room was kept at a cosy temperature. There were simple cooking facilities that enable basic meals. The location was very convenient for accessing the rest of the village on foot. The host was communicative and accessing the room on arrival was very easy. This place is quite strange, but in an endearing sort of way. Be aware, that this is an old property, so creaks and groans are to be expected and the floorboards are uneven. The stairs up to the room are very narrow, so do not book this accomodation if you have mobility issues that may make narrow staircases difficult to ascend and descend. The decor is a bit quirky. We noticed a few things that seemed a little peculiar, but in that endearing way. It just added some light amusement to our stay. We parked our car at the village car park as the host warned us ahead of time that the parsonage car park had massively increased their rates. The village car park costs a maximum of £5 if you want to leave the car there overnight. We parked on the top level of the car park which meant our walk to the accomodation was very short.

The shower is awkward to use. I'm a small person and there didn't seem to be a way to use the shower that didn't involve the shower curtain sticking to me. Presumably this is a listed building and the host is therefore very limited in what adjustments they can make, but I do feel there must be a better solution for the shower curtain situation. Be aware that the kitchen area is very small and there is no oven or freezer. There is however, an air fryer, a hotplate, a microwave and a kettle, so we were able to sort our food out well enough.

Absolutely everything. Beautiful and unique décor, warm and cosy, feels like home, everything is provided, location is at the heart of everything, nothing was a problem for Nathaniel. In the world where nothing is perfect this little place certainly challenges this truism.

Nothing.
