Sea Breeze II

I absolutely adore this property! I liked the location, I liked the terrace, the kitchen is well equipped, I had everything I needed. The hosts are very responsive and provided us with all the details. The flat is located in the quiet area, you wake up in the morning and you listen to the birds and the ocean but not to the city noise

nothing critical at all, I wish I could have white towels and paper towels but it's rather a wish than highlighting a bad thing

clean, cozy apartment with everything you need for a stay. Great view from the window (ocean / east side so you can enjoy sunrise). Great location Canico Bajo is a great place with everything you need (promenade, lots of cafes/restaurants, good small shops, best pastelaria in canico area :))

there were some ants in the apatment, however it did not bring a lot of issues. bed is not as comfy as it might be + it is creaking a bit no elevator (might be problematic if you wheelchaired or have huge luggage)

The flat is newly refurbished and well-equipped, we had everything what we needed for 10 days. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. I really liked the location, because from the balcony you have a view to the sea, therefore we spent every night talking and drinking wine while wondering how beautiful the sea is :)

I think, the prices in Madeira in general way too high. In other countries, two persons can spend one night for 95€ in a hotel with a breakfast, but as I could see, this is unfortunately the standard price in Madeira. I think, we can consider ourself lucky that we found accommodation with such a good quality under 1000€. Unfortunately, there is no private parking space to the flats which was a little bit annoying, because you have to pay every day for parking on the street.

The apartment was excellent. We loved the location (being out of the city) and how quiet the neighborhood was. The place was clean and spacious, with natural light and a good sea breeze. The balcony was also really great to sit on in the mornings with a cup of coffee. The bathroom was also well thought-out with a dim light coming out of the mirror (by switch) if you didn't want to turn on the main light into the bathroom. The shower was large and had great water pressure and hot water. Internet/wifi was also pretty good. There were several small grocery stores near by as well as restaurants. And free street parking came in really handy since we rented a car to get around the island. It looked like they may have been in the midst of a remodel because the dining table and tv were out in the breezeway before entering the apartment. Since we did eat a couple dinners in the apartment, it was strange, and we had to eat at the kitchen counter.

The only thing my partner and I noticed was the bed wasn't that comfortable. It was a bit too hard. We also found it strange that there wasn't paper towels or napkins. They also don't provide shampoo or bath soap, which was fine since we brought our own, but just something to be aware of. We were really happy to have free street parking, but also be aware that the town was instituting paid parking everywhere (even residential) just after we left. This is by no means the fault of the property, but if you rent a car, just be aware of this.

Great location, capital city 10-15min away if you travel by car. You can always find a place to park a car. Couple of food/drink stores and many restaurants and cafe's around.

The location is quiet and nice. We enjoyed spending evenings on the terrace and sea view in the morning. Hosts are welcoming and provided all we needed.
