Oceanfront Apartment

We will definitely be back. Manuel was very helpful even before we arrived, he helped us work out how to get from the airport to the apartment and met us when we arrived. The apartment was clean, spacious and very well appointed. The beds were all comfortable and best of all the balcony had the most amazing view over the sea. I love Madeira anyway but this apartment and Manuel being so helpful just added another layer of happiness to the whole holiday.

Having to leave at the end of the week

Lovely, spacious apartment, big bedrooms, 2 good bathrooms. Extremely clean. The balcony is much bigger than appears on the photos. Very well equipped, the owner Manuel has thought of everything, even umbrellas, which we needed on our first night!! Fortunately not required again. There was a great welcome pack, with delicious local foods. We were met by Manuel's mum, who was very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect, local buses and hop on hop off bus stop outside apartment, and there is a great shopping centre over the road, with big supermarket and lovely clothes shops, (lovely as there are so few clothes shops in UK!) Also lots of good restaurants close by, if you don't want to go into Funchal. There is also a lovely walk along the sea, leading to Câmara do Lobos, which is a pretty place with nice restaurants. I highly recommend this apartment.

Only slight problem, double bed (in room without balcony was a bit uncomfortable). There's were fine.

Manuel took really good care of us. Gave us some tips for things to do and visit, had some goodies available at the apartment for us so we could start really relaxed. The apartment was really well equiped and enough supplies for our stay. Thanks again Manuel! Wouldn't mind staying in your apartment again 😁

The apartment was in a great location, and was very well equipped. Communication was excellent throughout the booking process and Manuel was there to meet us when we arrived. Snacks and drinks were thoughtfully provided to help us settle in, and basics like cooking oil, tea and coffee were already in the cupboards. As our family enjoys running and outdoors activities, the washing machine and washing detergent was particularly useful!

Generally the apartment was quiet but the two bedrooms without ensuite do face onto the road which may be worth considering for those sensitive to noise (my daughter used some earplugs and was fine).

We are a group of 6 adults from Canada that were vacationing around Portugal together. Out of all the accommodations we had stayed at during our two week trip, this was our favorite one! It was so homey, comfortable and relaxing. We loved to make use of the deck and watch the sunset every evening. We also loved the pool, and spent many afternoons soaking up the sun there. There was so much thought and detail put into the condo which really elevated our experience. The host even left us a gift basket of local goodies upon our arrival. We also really loved the location as it was walking distance to so many shops and grocery stores. Another key feature is that the Hop on Hop off bus stop was right outside the complex, which made exploring the island super easy! We would love to return and stay here again.

There was honestly nothing we didn't like! We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Madeira Island for the first time!

Great location. Overlooks ocean. Access to pool. Easy to get about. Supermarket less than 5 mins. Manuel our host was exceptional. Great communication and waited for us after delayed flight. Lots of extra touches and he gave brilliant recommendations. Highly recommend

It really was a home from home. Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Lovely view. Large supermarket across the road. Bus stops to Funchal central just outside, so easy access to everything. We loved our stay here.

I think this is a minor fix and would not stop me going again - could do with 2-3 portable fans for the hot weather, especially at night.

Amazing location with exceptional sea views from the pool and verandah. The property is as described, spotlessly clean and ideally located for both local amenities and public transport into the city centre. The pool is fantastic and although shared amongst the complex was almost exclusively ours when we went down, just as other travellers have described. The host (Manuel) is amazing and always ready to provide advice and assistance or help with any issues.

We had a minor issue with the hot water heating but Manuel promptly offered to get an emergency engineer out and provided us with a gift to compensate on departure. So in reality there was nothing we didn't like!
