Central Funchal Apartment - GARDEN - Free Parking & AC

Location was very central, instructions for entry were good . Free parking much appreciated. Host was very helpful on the day we left.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Perfect location.

Centrally located in a beautiful neighbourhood. Apartment is spacious and comfortable.

Didn't know it didn't come with some personal items like shower get amd shampoo, but fortunately we could get some nearby. It would have been a nice touch to a complete stay!

We did have ants in the kitchen so all food was kept in the fridge . The tv did not work very well.

We spent 10 days there and it was a good choice. The location is great, right next to a beautiful garden, in a central location. The apartment is very nice in good condition, plenty of space, and a nice kitchen. we had everything we needed in there.

The bed was not very comfortable. it was ok. The shower boiler is small, so we had to take quick showers or wait until it boils up again. Overall not major inconveniences, but it could be better.

The location of this 2 bedroomed flat was excellent , right by a municiple garden, just a few minutes from the sea front. A few streets behind the flat was an area with many restaurants with outside tables. Then there was the well known 'Santa Maria' area was just a short walk away. The beds were very comportable, the shower excellent with good hot water. The flat was very well exquippted, but we did not need to do any cooking as the restaurants were so good and good prices.

The only thing which was slightly disappointing was the balcony facing another building, So we went to the gardens which was just at the base of the building.

The apartment was very spacious and had everything you would expect to find in your own home.Windows had fly screens and shutters.Within easy walking distance of the main shops and restaurants, also straight down the road to the marina for buses or air lift. Maria was super friendly and very easy to get hold of if we had a question. Lovely Italian opposite the supermarket bottom floor /shopping mall which you can find by going out of apartment turn left then first right then follow around bend pingo doce. Would recommend and hope to go back again.

We arrived for the festival week.The concerts and children singing in the garden by side of apartments during the day was lovely but our first 4 nights loud music until 11.30 and people on streets making noise.Also if you like to go to bed early be warned the rubbish men pick up late at night.The windows let noise in but a good pair of ear plugs will fix that.
