City Garden by Madeira Best Apartments

The apartment had everything we needed as a family. Every detail was thoroughly taken care of, with oil/pepper/salt to cook and even laundry-tablets. A nicely prepared baby bed was present, a baby chair and even a baby bath. Central location, but not noisy. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We definitely recommend this place!

Die Wohnung ist modern, geräumig und makellos sauber – alles entspricht exakt den Fotos. Sie ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht: eine vollständig eingerichtete Küche, ein komfortables Schlafzimmer sowie ein Balkon, auf dem wir gerne Zeit verbracht haben. Die Lage ist hervorragend – direkt im Zentrum von Funchal, sodass Restaurants, Geschäfte, Parks und sogar der Yachthafen bequem zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Trotz der zentralen Position ist die Wohnung ruhig und bietet eine entspannte Atmosphäre, was für uns als Familie ideal war. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Gastgeber. Sie waren außerordentlich freundlich, flexibel und aufmerksam. Wir wurden mit einem Lächeln empfangen und mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten wie Wein und Schokolade überrascht – eine sehr schöne Geste. Während des gesamten Aufenthalts standen sie uns jederzeit für Fragen oder Empfehlungen zur Verfügung, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Insgesamt war unser Familienaufenthalt hier ausgezeichnet. Perfekte Lage, höchste Sauberkeit, komfortable Ausstattung und fantastische Gastgeber – wir würden definitiv wiederkommen und empfehlen die Unterkunft jedem, der einen Aufenthalt in Funchal plant.

Very comfortable apartment with all amenities needed for a week long stay. Located very close to many restaurants and shopping. Nice park across the street with a cafe to have breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff were always quick to respond.

Really good central location, 2 minute walk to the Plaza Madeira with big supermarket. Parking available for a low extra cost. We were given cookies, bananas and a bottle of red wine, which was a nice touch. Good working ACs.

When we plugged in the panini toaster it threw a fuse, we able to turn electricity on again though but toaster was unusable. Oven wasn't working and when informing the agency they simple said they will inform the owner but no other communication after that.
