Excelente T3 Duplex Funchal

Gostamos muito do apartamento no seu todo. Espaçoso para 6/7 pessoas, dado que levamos uma criança. Suite em cima mais 2 quartos em baixo com outro wc. Foi fácil o contacto com o anfitrião e por conseguinte com a Sra que fez a limpeza e que nos deu a chave em mão. A localização é boa mas é preciso ir de carro para o centro. Funchal é sempre a subir e a descer. Usamos a garagem para estacionar o carro.

Très chouette appartement idéalement situé avec une magnifique vue. Suffisamment spacieux pour 5 personnes. Le parking privé est fort appréciable. Le logement est très bien équipé également.

We had a perfect stay. Everything you need is at the appartment. Private parking as well. And in 15 minute you walk to Funchal downtown area.

Good accommodation with nice interior. Clean, good size and great view. Good size bathroom. About a 20-30min walk to areas of Funchal town. Coffee machine and laundry available for use. Staff were very nice and responsive. Free underground parking available.

Payment by cash but deposit required to bank account or PayPal at time of booking. Doing a bank transfer just made me feel a bit uncomfortable especially with all the fake requests that go through booking.com. I would prefer if payment was made directly through the booking.com platform. Accommodation is uphill from town.

We stayed at this lovely apartment in Funchal for 7 nights over the New Year celebrations, and it was a fantastic experience! The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, offering beautiful views of the sea and cruise ships from the balcony. It’s about a 15-minute walk downhill to the harbour and 10-minute to the shopping area. The return stroll uphill takes around 30 minutes, but we often used Bolt, which was both inexpensive and very reliable. Our host, Jorge, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring we felt right at home. We also enjoyed visiting the local bar just around the corner – a great atmosphere with friendly locals – and the nearby shop was equally welcoming. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a peaceful base with easy access to all that Funchal has to offer.

The kitchen could have been better equipped - not enough knives and no scissors. The lack of scissors is an issue when you travel with hand luggage only.
