We were greeted with a bottle of wine and lovely snacks on our arrival, which were appreciated! So thoughtful. The written instructions left by the host was helpful. The coffee maker, washer (no dryer), refrigerator, multiple TVs, and the three bed rooms with two nice bathrooms were great. Walking to the beach and Cascais is a bit of a hike, but doable. We enjoyed strolling down the coast watching the waves hit the seawall. The town of Estoril is very cute. very homey. The penthouse was spacious, clean and well-appointed with heaters, and all the amenities needed. My family enjoyed spending time in the living and dining rooms during their down time. There is a lot of sunlight, even with the worst storm to hit Lisbon occurring the week of our visit. Sintra is a 20 minute car ride away. Unfortunately, most of the monuments and palaces were closed due to the damage caused by the storm. There is an adorable market on the block, which offers a wide range of snacks and drinks. My adult kids enjoyed the local bar a few doors down. They arrived around 10:30pm, and said it got packed after midnight. They enjoyed hanging out with the locals. There are quite a few cafes and restaurants nearby with delicious food. The location was great for us. It was quiet and safe, even though a huge tree toppled down and powerlines fell in front of the apartment due to the storm. The owners have great communication and really make an effort to make sure t\you enjoy your stay. Note that there is no elevator, so you will need to carry your luggage up to the third floor if you are staying in the penthouse. Oh, there is a casino nearby!

If you don't want to experience local lifestyle in the upscale town of Estoril, and prefer a more trendy, lively location like Cascais, this may not be the place for you. We really enjoyed our two night stay, and walked to and from Cascais every day. I would have liked a clothes dryer.

there is beautiful contemporary styling in the apartment. the beds were very comfortable and the rooms spacious. the apartment is conveniently close to Monte Estoril railway station. it was very close to the seafront promenade, do we were able to walk to Cascais, about 25minutes walk, and to Estoril itself, which is about a 15 minute walk away. there were a few very good restaurants nearby. the kitchen was well equipped although the toaster could do with replacing.

unfortunately there was a major construction site next door and the noise was dreadful from 8am til 6pm with a break at lunchtime. it was noted in the information section but we felt it should have been front and centre in the details of the property, because we did miss this until we had already booked. the owners compensated us with a reduction in the cost and so we stayed, as by the time we realised how bad the noise was it was too late and too much hassle to move elsewhere, as these were the last 3 days of our holiday. we just had to make sure we were out of the apartment during the working hours and fortunately the weather was good enough to enable this. it is also very important to realise that to reach the apartment you need to negotiate three very long and winding flights of stairs.

Elegant, spacious, recently refurbished, bright, clean, warm and all the comforts of home. The location was ideal for exploring Cascais, going to the beach, 3 minutes from train and ideal for attending the Estoril Tennis Open 2024.

Everything was exceptional. The only thing I did not know was that Monte Estoril is full of hills so be aware that you will be climbing up and down steps and hills.

Wonderfully designed space, beautiful views, meticulously cleaned - luxurious to say the least. Excellent hosts with prompt responses, anccomodating on my toddler’s needs, and so flexible with our arrival and departure time!

We loved everything, we just want to give people a heads-up to those traveling with elderly folks and young ones: the stairs in the building to the apartment are a little bit of a feat!

The location of the penthouse was excellent .Lovley restaurants near at hand and only 20 min walk along the promenade by the sea to Cascas.

Stairs up to property bit tricky with luggage but we had assistance from Thomas & a friend to carry our luggage up to apartment which was greatly appreciated.
