Apartamento Quinta do Faial

Very spacious apartment up to 4 people and there were 2 of us so we had a lot of space around. The location was not that far from the center. Everything was clean, all around we were satisfied.

The host welcomed us earlier and handed over the keys. The location is easily accessible with convenient parking, just 2 km from the old town and the cable car. It also offers easy access to major roads, all in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Location was excellent and the host was very friendly and helpful with the check in and check out schedule.

The apartment had the bare minimum in amenities. Cheap oven, cheap fridge, cheap everything. There was no table cloth anywhere, limited and cheap silverware or basic items to do laundry, or the dishes or have a shower. Such as detergent or a proper clothes rack or soap. There’s also an issue with the photos not being fully accurate about the apartment type. The second room does not have windows but glass vents instead (I suspect it was converted from a garage) and it was advertised as a 2 room apartment but in reality is a 1 bedroom + 1 room converted from a garage. Also not sure if it’s mentioned on the description but the apartment is on street level. So despite having a terrace there’s no balcony or view.
