Wi-Fi slightly slow/problematic/ didn’t function

Apartament wygodny i bardzo czysty. Świetna lokalizacja blisko do centrum miasta a jednak bardzo spokojnie i na uboczu. Bardzo miły i pomocny gospodarz.

Für eine Ferienunterkunft fühlte es sich recht luxuriös an. Die Wohnung ist hochwertig, modern und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Alles war sehr sauber und in tadellosem Zustand. Der Gastgeber Miguel hat alles wunderbar vorbereitet. Danke! Die Wohnung ist schön ruhig gelegen und gleichzeitig sehr zentral zwischen den wichtigsten Hotspots. Hafenpromenade und Altstadt sind fussläufig bequem erreichbar. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das einzige was man vorab bedenken sollte ist, dass man in Funchal viel bergauf und bergab geht. So auch auf dem Weg zu dieser Unterkunft. Ist nicht dramatisch, aber wer damit grundsätzlich Schwierigkeiten hat, für den ist die Wohnung vermutlich nicht das richtige.

Der Gastgeber Miguel war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Bei allen Fragen durften wir auf ihn zukommen. Es sind Parkplätze vor der Unterkunft vorhanden und die Lage und schnelle Erreichbarkeit der Stadt Funchal und deren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren sehr angenehm.

Das Loft hat alles was man braucht. Küche super ausgestattet. Vieles wie Gewürze, Kaffee, Essig/Oel , Mülltüten, etc. war schon vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Miguel gab uns gute Tipps und wäre auch jederzeit erreichbar gewesen. Gerne wieder.

Miguel was very responsive and accomodating. Structure walking distance from the center and yet very quiet. Would recommend it!

I liked that it was not too far from restaurants. The walk back was a reasonable walk and good exercise. Felt fairly safe walking home at night by myself. The apartment was appointed well. He did a very good job,

Opted to have Miguel pick me up at the airport for 30 Euros. He is a young fit man. On arrival he said I will take one suitcase. I said Okay. I am a small senior with grey hair with 2 suitcase for a 3 week journey. It was not easy for me. The apartment is located down a hill with no car access. If you have groceries you must think abut this. I misunderstood satellite. Thought it meant a tv with Netflix etc. Not a problem. I said I could not be happy without having Netflix etc available. I said I came prepared with Amazon Firestick and some electrical country converters. I am a solo traveler. I do not go out at night partying. I have dinner and sit down to a quiet evening. Could he help me set it up because plugs and language are different on the remote. Miguel helped me. but I felt like I was a chore because he had not expected to spend this time with me. Perhaps he had other important things to do. I had the lights on to go up the stairs and for the kitchen living room space. I am a senior and wanted to feel safe going up the stairs. He asked me to not have lights on unnecessarily. Of course I obliged. I did not want to cause extra expense for him. On my last day he asked why the microwave was on the floor against the wall. I said I needed the counter space and why he asked. He had to put it back. I said you are a big guy if I can move it you can do it. Think he is a good man but made me feel like I was too much. I paid 30 Euros for Miguel to pick me up from the airport. I paid 30 Euros to go to the airport I could have paid 30 Canadian for an Uber to take me. I opted to go with him. I had a very nice conversation driving to the airport with him. I liked him. I believe Miguel is well intentioned but not accustomed to a senior.

צריך לטפס הרבה מדרגות כדי להגיע כולל בתוך הדירה עצמה, לא נמצאת במיקום הכי אטרקטיבי ועם חיי לילה (מצד שני יש שם חניה) אין שקעים ליד המיטה
