Very clean and comfortable. Tiauna the contact person was exceptional: friendly reliable and efficient.

The walk up the hill is steep. I enjoyed the exercise, but that may not be suitable for all people.

Cottage Mango in Castara cannot be beat on price (budget friendly) or location. It is a 15 - 20 minute walk away from the central hub of the village with several restaurants, the beach, a pharmacy etc. It is in a relatively quiet area with the occasional loud speaker car but the cottage is quite intimate with a lovely terrace that is very breezy; do carry bug repellant. There is hot and cold water available and the water pressure is excellent.

Unfortunately Cottage Mango wasn't the cleanest and raised our sinus. It seemed unused for some time and hurriedly "tidied". The side tables, faux plants and fan were all dusty. The bathroom and dish cupboard boasted cobwebs. The grout in the bathroom in some areas need attention. The Ac is in need of a cleaning and service especially as it has to run on 16° for a few hours before the room starts to feel cool. The fridge, stove and microwave need proper cleaning/wiping from food storage and cooking stains. We had to wipe out the freezer and wash out the fridge draw. The toaster, probably never cleaned and the kettle cover is broken. To cap it off, the main entrance door lock and key are faulty. The key doesn't work in the lock at all. At no time during our stay; staying in, out and about and sleeping was the door locked. It's just a pull shut scenario.

Very nice place with nice terrace and view to the seaside. You can find everything you need in the room, and also internet connection is very reliable.

Although the place is walking distance from the town center, going back is pretty challenging, you have to walk very steep hill. But that's good for the physical activity :)

We had a great time at Cottage Mango, I would recommend it to anyone. We especially loved the terrace.

It seemed as if no one was taking care of it, they didn't charge us on arrival or departure, but we paid online and it was all sorted, so everything fine.

Loved the place. Safe, clean and comfortable.

Didn't like the hidden Fee that the website charged.
