MAMARICO' APARTAMENT

Situated close to everything - the piazzas, Duomo, Teatro Massimo Bellini, Fish markets, restaurants & shops. The washing machine was great too. Once inside the accommodation it was quiet despite its central position. Good mattress. Lovely hosts - very willing to make our stay special and comfortable - we had fresh croissants delivered to our door every morning, and were even driven to the train station on our departure to save us catching a taxi. Thank you to both Manuele & Ricardo for making our stay in Catania very special.

The apartment is in the most central location. You have everything you need within 50-100m of walking distance. The host is very welcoming and attentive - he picked us up from the airport and also brought us croissants every morning. He gave some really good restaurant recommendations. Squib - The best pizza we've had in our lives! Thank you Manuele and Riccado for making our Sicily trip so special! p.s. you might also be able to hire the host for private car service. We originally planned on taking a bus from Catania to Piazza Armerina but decided to take a private car because the weather was so hot. We contacted a few places from TA but with no luck. We asked Manuele if he had recommendations. He and his brother ended up driving us from Catania to Piazza Armerina. What a wonderful experience!

The family-run hospitality is outstanding - airport transfers, daily fresh croissants, and flexible check-in/out times made our stay effortless. Modern amenities like AC, cable TV, and a coffee and washing machine, plus thoughtful touches like cold beers on arrival and a stocked kitchen, elevate this stay above a typical hotel.

Everything. Great facilities and close to the centre. They went over and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend. Do not go anywhere else.

There was nothing we could fault. Everything was more than perfect.

It was comfortable with everything we needed. The location was so central and enabled us to walk everywhere in the city for sightseeing and for restaurants. The added bonus was being able to park our car safely in the courtyard and off the road. The hosts were so welcoming and gave us lots of extra information re places to go and see.

The hosts were superb!!! The room was large and comfortable, the location was fabulous. The parking in the enclose courtyard was an added bonus. The hosts provided plenty of coffee, bottled water, a nice bottle of wine, and other amenities. They even brought us fresh mulberries from their country property. We absolutely loved our stay.

The location is excellent and really central to visit all of Catania easily. I arrived by train and it was an easy 20 min walk. Spacious apartment, with architectural elements, decorated with ceramics, details and paintings that capture the local flavor of Sicily. Bed and pillows are very comfortable (high quality memory foam I think.) The terrace has character, bathroom is large, the shower includes different options, hand held, rain shower with great pressure. I enjoyed the espresso machine and pastry Manuele brought every morning. Out of all the bnbs I have stayed at during my month in Sicily, this one had all the amenities i could ever want or need. I appreciated the bottled water (enough for my entire stay, yogurt, and a gifted bottle of aSicilian Shiraz) There is a dining area and sofa on the main level as well. The recommendations on attractions and restaurants from the host were all wonderful, and hosts were available the entire time to answer any questions I had about the city. They even offered a voucher to receive a reduced price to visit the Cupola Chiesa Badia di Sant’Agatha which gives you a 360 view of the city.

I was picked up from the airport by two extremely friendly brothers who gave me valuable recommendations for sightseeing the city on the way to my stay. Straightforward and efficient check-in. Could hardly believe I had this spacious and very well equipped flat all to myself. Balcony. Washing machine. Coffee, coffee machine, tea, kettle, bread, toaster, yoghurts, water, etc. Shower with the latest technology. I spontaneously decided to stay three nights longer - which speaks for itself - because I enjoyed my stay and the location in beautiful Catania so much; my wish was generously fulfilled.
