Modern 2-bedroom Apt near SSE Hydro and SEC

The location was excellent for our weekend of events at The Hydro, which was only a 5 minute walk away. The apartment is spacious and has two large couches so my friends and I could sit and chat with other.

So many faults with this apartment! I complained and asked for a partial refund - as this expensive flat did not live up to our expectations, or the photographs provided. The shower in the en-suite did not drain & almost flooded the bathroom - the shower in the main bathroom did flood the bathroom floor as the shower screen is poorly fitted & does not prevent water from running onto the floor. Neither bathroom has a functioning extraction fan. The cooker button is broken off & we were never able to get the cooker to work as a result. There were food items in the freezer. The blinds in the living room are broken at the bottom & very difficult to close them as the control cord also broken. Beds very uncomfortable & the pillows were a joke - never seen such awful, old, thin pillows, see the photo of my hand holding one!! The bedding had an old, worn, appearance which initially made me think it wasn't clean. Most worrying of all was the presence of fire marshalls in every stair well, which alerted me to the fact that this is one of the buildings affected by flammable cladding - I feel this should be stated in the listing. Even more worrying, in light of the fact there is a danger of fire spreading quickly in this building, is the fact that there were no fire fighting equipment in the apartment - no fire blanket & no fire extinguisher - we searched everywhere to give us peace of mind but couldn't find any fire fighting equipment which, I believe, is a legal requirement. More worryingly, the balcony door was broken & the door would not open. We phoned the booking 'guru' who said they knew the door was broken but that parts were needed & had to come from Germany, therefore the door was unusable. Not told this before arrival and, as the building is identified as a fire risk, and the apartment has no fire fighting equipment we were very uneasy the entire time we were there. All requests for refund have been completely ignored.

Location was great. We were there to see a concert at the OVO Hydro.

If you send a lock code, please give more notice. I was on a plane when you sent it. Prior to that I was given a different code so I had the wrong one when I arrived.

The location was fab. It was clean warm and comfortable and had everything we needed

The view was lovely, the beds comfy and was a great location near the SEC.

The lock box system was a bit confusing.
