"Catania is great"

Louisa met us at the property and explained everything and gave us some tips on where to eat etc. She also tried to sell us a boat trip even though we had only just arrived. The apartment was clean and functional. The shower was a little tired. The view of the balcony was lovely. There was also adequate on street parking. The apartment we stayed in was nice, it was only later on that I realised it was not what we had booked, though it was similar.

The night before our arrival we were notified that there was a problem with the card machine and we had to pay in cash. We didn't have that many euros, Louisa said she would wait a day or so for the money. However on checking upon previous reviews there is a history of the card machine 'not working'! The property was not the property we booked, the photos did not match the description. There should have been a double and a single bed but there was only one double. The bedroom was dark and only accessed via a spiral staircase. Also there was no washing machine which was in the description.
