Beach of Eden Cefalu'

We loved our modern and clean studio apartment with the great view over the sea. Girolamo is a wonderful host who was so helpful in many situations and always reachable via call or message. That made our time there very relaxing and uncomplicated. Also Sant'Ambrogio is a beautiful village with kindhearted people and not too many tourists. The beach was never crowded and it's a wonderfully quiet and peaceful place. Since the center of Cefalú is about 6-7 km away it's very helpful to have a car or scooter. We didn't have either but Girolamo offered us several rides into the city, brought us to a supermarket which is open on Sundays when we arrived and assisted us on taking the bus into the city. So it really wasn't much of a problem for us. Thank you Giro! We hope to return soon.

The place was amazing with beautiful and breathtaking sea view from the balcony. The room was comfy, well equiped, and clean. The bathroom was also clean. The balcony is very spatious and it is an ideal place for having breakfast or coffee with a view. There is parking available at the site, so you don't have to worry about it, as in other places in Sicily. There are stairs leading directly to the beach, which is beautiful and not crowded, with crystal clear water. There is also a pool at the site. The host was very friendly and spoke well english, he sent us many useful tips for visiting around. There is a shop and few restaurants 500m from the apartment complex, and the town Cefalu is 10 min drive from the place. We had a really nice stay here.

There was no breakfast, you provide for yourself. There is a small shop 7 min walk from the apartment and a few restaurants which have amazing food, very Sicilian and doesn’t feel touristy.

The only difficulty is if you don’t have a car it’s about 10 minute drive from cefalu and taxis are very expensive here. However, Giro, the host, was amazing and would give us a lift into town if/when he was driving in which was extremely helpful!

Amazing view and so close to a great beach. Also our host Giro is a LEGEND. You must stay n his place!

We stayed for a few days at the end of our holiday. Giro was so helpful and was available and happy to answer any questions. The apartment is well set up with everything you need and more. Nice restaurant and great coffee shop a short walk up the hill. Giro even provides a parasol and towels to use at the adjoining beach! Cefalu is a short drive away and buzzing with life - architecture, wonderful restaurants and stylish shopping. Giro has thought hard about what he needs to provide to make the place appealing to his guests and we loved it. We plan to return.

Nothing
