Taighali Apartment

The views and location were absolutely stunning. Boom beach was beautiful and very accessible from the end of the garden. A well equipped kitchen- we do love cooking- and the nearby Aultbea Stores had everything you would need. A lovely open-plan living space and views we could not stop looking at. We came for Christmas and New Year to get away from it all and it was the perfect location to do this. Alexander the host was a lovely man and was there when we needed anything but also left us to ourselves. Would absolutely recommend this property and we will definitely book again.

We absolutely loved this apartment, it’s very spacious with breathtaking views! Just like a home from home with little touches! Milk in the fridge with cakes, pancakes, tea coffee and sugar awaiting our arrival. Lovely comfy bed, great location, very friendly host. Nearest pub is a 5 min drive or 1 hour walk. Very friendly locals, great wildlife. (Take binoculars!) A local fisherman delivered freshly caught lobster and langoustines, these were delicious and an absolute bargain price! £20 lobster and just over a £1 per langoustine!

The shower pressure is very low. Would have liked a dressing table with stool and lamp.

Great location; very comfortable.

The only thing I would have liked to have had in the kitchen was a cafeteria…

2 minutes walk from the beach, night stars and aurora through camera, lovely owner, parking right outside, very quiet and peaceful, cooker, microwave etc all great, very clean and very comfortable sofa. Easy to find on map. I did some work and WiFi was great with video calls etc.

Alexander was an excellent host. Apartment very comfortable and cosy. Highly recommended

No complaint

Very light and airy apartment, with space and spectacular views - in three directions from the living area . The photos don't do it justice. Alexander is a charming and helpful host. We had a great time in the area... And loved being able to walk through the field down to the beach, see the sun sink and watch the bearded Collie rounding up the sheep! .

You may be surprised if you don't know about Aultbeas history . Still signs of MOD activity .... So it's less 'pretty' than some areas...but interesting. It didn't bother us, as military history is his 'thing'!!
