Casa Illyria

This place was wonderful! Gjovalin is a wonderful host, very friendly and generous. The property is lovely and peaceful, with nice views and easy access to Gusinje town and the surrounding national park. The apartment is large and comfortable, with good heating, a well stocked kitchen, a TV with about every international channel you could think of, and a washing machine. All of this for great value; we highly recommend Casa Illyria to anyone visiting the area.

great host (one of the BEST !!!) lots of equipment (fridge, washing machine, wifi, ip tv, netflix, stove, ...) pretty much everything you can ask for close to Prokletije NP (walking is feasible but drive there is better ... roughly 15 mins to the parking at the trailhead)

the town is kinda ... not ok (very small super markets with limited stuff .. e.g no mozarella) there is not much happening (compared to Zabljak) the apartment is kinda not maintained (dirty, spiders web, beetles, spiders, ...) it was probably cleaned only "what's visible" ... a bit more thorough cleaning will be better it is kinda old - so not for everyone ... there was cow-dungs everywhere (even in the garden) so you gotta watch your step

Wspaniały klimat pogranicza czarnogórsko-albańskiego z przewagą wpływów albańskich - stworzony przez gospodarza, który na zawsze pozostanie w naszej pamięci. Świetna lokalizacja do wypraw górskich. Jeszcze tu wrócimy.

Дом в живописнейшем месте, хозяин очень дружелюбный, добрый. Домик со всеми удобствами, стиралка, посудомойка, холодильник, во дворе газовый гриль. Есть маленькая детская зона (качели). Животные (куры, поросята), можно ходить кормить (мы были с маленьким ребенком). Очень довольны отдыхом, будем рекомендовать этого хозяина и возможно вернемся сами

We liked everything. Staying there was the best experience in Montenegro we've ever had. Gjovalin is the very interesting person, friendly and helpful, it is a pleasure to see him and to talk to him. The kindness of people, the beauty of nature and the authenticity of the region made our week very special. We will definitely come back there. Highly recommend!

Gazda a fost foarte amabila cu noi - speram sa mai revenim aici dacă o să avem ocazia - natura e superba - cine iubește liniște și munți locul este cel mai potrivit !!!

This accommodation is amazing, and the host is simply the best. I can't say how much we liked this - just come and experience it yourself! You cannot, simply cannot find anything better anywhere around!
